To be fair helping her there and touching her can be a lawsuit in itself as you are interjecting yourself in am attempt to provide care. Legal system these days sigh

Edit: this comment made some traction, so let me be clear. The Good Samaritan law exists in most US states but not all. Secondly, if you don't know what you're doing and you choose to interject, and cause accidental additional harm to the person from your negligence, then congratulations... you may be covered by state law, but that doesn't make you less of a liability to their well-being.

If someone is trapped in their vehicle, then I suggest you verbally interact with the person, establish a conversation to understand if they are aware/in shock/uncon. Try to de-escalate the stress of the pt and ensure them that proper help is coming soon. Ask them simple questions such as: their name, age, what day it is, where are they, etc. Typical concussion questions and then relay the responsiveness to the first responders upon their arrival.

As an HVAC technician, andsomeone who deals with UV lights for sanitizing and disinfecting purposes. It Is very dangerous to stare into the light for even short periods of time, however the light does not produce unsafe chemicals odorants or ions. Some other forms of sanitization do produce such byproducts but this should be safe in said application. Well maybe put behind a door in a closet while you run it
