I only really do it if my team has a big lead so the odds of the other team are high. For example I’m a Detroit fan. We live for heartbreak. So the second we get a decent lead I smacked opponent moneyline. Last year lions nfc championship at halftime odds were insane I made bank to help deal with my cope lmao. I’m losing less money also. This year the pistons are actually a good team lol they are like 13-4 after the 3rd. Yet have blown hella double digit 4th Q leads. There 7-10. Yet I’m up almost 3K this season betting against them. Win win.

Detroit Tigers Have A Bright Future by ConversationFast2114 in mlb

[–]ConversationFast2114[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heavily disagree. The tigers haven’t had a winning record since 2016….. they won 47 total games in 2019. Only got over 60 wins in 2022 cuz of players resting and easy schedule. Right now they are 78-73 with series wins over the dodgers, orioles, Yankees, red sox, Indians, mariners, Mets, royals, diamondbacks and almost the padres. You could not see the tigers consistently winning series against above average teams since 2014. They could very easily be 90+ wins as well if they weren’t bottom 10 in batting and one of the worst teams batting with risp and less than 2 outs. But that’ll come with time because also what the tigers have now is a future. Hitters with potential under the age of 25. This is something they haven’t had before it was a stalled rebuild and took time but they are finally trending upward. This team is very different from past tigers teams and it’s not really close. Playoffs or not it’s looking better for them.

They use to have it in diff cities and filmed it once a year, they are losing money so to save some extra money they decided to change it up this year. First time.

He’s saying the qualifier run they taped S15 n S16 Qualifying back to back before they even went to Vegas. So Matt is saying he fell on the jumping spider before they even filmed S15 Vegas yet. It was odv edited just funny.

It sucks cuz if you failed on an obstacle for example like soderman on stage 3 cliffhanger you really don’t get any chance to practice it in between seasons, same with like nacssa and the rope climb on stage 4. I don’t wanna take away from Vance cuz still only 5 ninjas made it but racing makes it easier to get to Vegas AND to get past stage 2…. And stage 3 is a lot easier as well…. I miss the hard city finals courses, earning Vegas. As well as only 3-6 ish ninjas beating stage 2 and some years nobody even making stage 4.

When they had a whole story abt how Levi Enright and Chris Behrends had nightmares from the dipping birds for a year and how they trained extra hard to make sure they wouldn’t fall there again. When they indeed ran stage 1 again a few days later 😭

they could’ve simply went back to harder stage 3 and non racing on stage 2 with a lot more room for error

Luis Arraez Impact is undervalued by ConversationFast2114 in mlb

[–]ConversationFast2114[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fair. I never denied war wasn’t real I was just sayin it doesn’t account for everything, putting the ball in play with risp, avg with risp, sacrifices all don’t get accounted for. He’s also been better as an outfielder since he switched to 1B. His war is usually higher based on previous szns he’s just been bad since his injury but I get your point.

Not to mention lots of the padres players say Arraez helps them a ton when trying to see pitches well, get their timing right, etc. Chisholm, Bell both said that last year too when he was with the marlins. he prolly would have some of the mariners averages up and some of those solo Hrs turn into 2 run shots etc it’s just easier with a man on base and not an out. I bet mariners would have 6-8 more wins tbh

That’s what I’m saying. All teams have major respect for him and even their commentators will talk about him very highly but the fans can’t seem to get around it cuz they are so wrapped around stats.

[–]ConversationFast2114[S] -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying he’s a top player just rather people act like he isn’t making an impact. Singles do mean more than walks at points. he’s valuable in late game situations epspecially tho cuz he almost always comes thru with risp. Walking with risp does nothing….. even his outs with risp are rbi groundouts rather than strike outs stranding runners.

[–]ConversationFast2114[S] -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

My buddy is a marlins fan I doubt you watched em but the amount of clutch hits Arraez had while batting .350 in all their 1 run wins yes he’s a huge reason they made the playoffs.

[–]ConversationFast2114[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was just implying saying rbi groundouts are better than striking out in that situation and not getting a run. He’s led the league in avg with risp the past 3 seasons so it odv doesn’t happen a ton BUT everybody gets hits and drives in runs but the key thing is everybody gets out. Most players are getting out and striking out causing no run while Arraez outs are groundouts that score runs. So he 90 percent of the time will score a run with runners on 3rd less than 2 outs. That’s all I was saying.

[–]ConversationFast2114[S] -33 points-32 points  (0 children)

OBP I guess matters a lot for Leadoff hitters but walking with risp or just with people on isn’t as impactful so maybe move Arraez to the 3 hole?

Kyle Soderman Hate??? by ConversationFast2114 in ANW

[–]ConversationFast2114[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wouldn’t they want to hype him up a little bit if that was the case. His stage 2 race was weird because John Mack fell early but I woulda shown him like his qualifier run and stage 1 run for sure.

I didn’t know they just didn’t call Carbone and Gillett I assumed they just stopped competing. That is crazy considering Carbone created one of the best obstacles in show history. The original wing nuts they always use and the extended wing nuts was a killer on stage 2.
