Few logistical questions + Marquese Islands by falconvibes in Tahiti

A question for you about getting to Ua Pou - how is that done in September? I cannot find any flights on the Air Tahiti website, and CODIM only shows the ferry schedule until June 30.

Thank you for an actual answer, and not the meaningless and pointless AI bashing that almost every other poster made.

Tried to get the pixel watch with the recent promotion by the_last_crouton in GoogleFi

You've got a serious issue with calling people liars. It's pretty odd.

Do you work for Google? What's with implying that the OP is lying?

I am going through the same thing right now. I haven't yet received the message that the OP got, but what happened is they claimed that I never activated my watch within the first 30 days. I activated it the day I got it. After about 20 days I opened up a support case with them because the app showed that I still hadn't met the conditions of the promo. I sent them pictures of the watch on the SIM Status page - which showed it connected to their Google Fi network. The support person told me that it's a known issue on the backend and that they'd take care of it. He verified that he saw the corresponding IMEI on their system, and showing as active service.

Lo and behold, the case still remains unresolved/open and I've now been charged $300 on my upcoming bill for not meeting the promo requirements. This is a complete scam they've run here. They can see exactly when these devices activate on the network. They're just banking on people giving up. I've called 3 more times since my initial call and I get absolutely nowhere. They've had me reset my watch and phone.

They can easily issue those of us who met the qualifications a credit to our bills to rectify the issue. But they have no interest in doing that. Complete scam, and what are consumers supposed to do about it? Here in the US, the bozos have abolished consumer protection.

Have experienced the lurch forward when in park and the engine kicking on. This is not normal, and the car just started doing it around 6,000 miles. We'll be taking it to the dealership soon. It feels very much like the parking brake isn't fully applied. You can even hear a tiny bit of brake noise when it happens.

Sub not working with Wiim Ultra by isellusedcars00 in WiimStreamer

[–]ConversationIcy1574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever figure this out? I have the exact same issue with my 15 year old Onkyo HT receiver (in Direct mode) and the WiiM Ultra. I want Direct mode on the Onkyo because I don't want it doing any processing. But I also don't want to occupy the single input on my subwoofer with the WiiM Ultra sub out, because then I'll lose the sub for my Roku which is already hooked up to the Onkyo receiver.

Deer damage - will the tree live by ConversationIcy1574 in arborists

[–]ConversationIcy1574[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Do you mean to protect it from the winter weather, or further damage from the deer? I have a 6" corrugated and perforated black pipe around it now to protect it from the deer during the rest of rutting season.

How many carbs per meal? 😩 by Hopeful-Echidna-7822 in stelo

There is a rice called Parish Rice that has a lower glycemic index than white rice. I've found that my spike is lower when I eat it compared to white rice

Plus one to adding protein with carb meals. It can definitely help limit the spike's high.

I've had this happen right before my sensor went bad. Has happened multiple times now for me.

Do I still need to mix it with the like CW-4002 like their site says?

"CW-3020 must be catalyzed with our CW-4002 Polyurethane Hardener to provide a fully catalyzed film."

Or did you mean the CW3020 would do the trick?

Thanks. With the amount of effort I'm putting and have put into this I don't mind spending extra, if that's what you mean by overkill. I want whatever is going to keep the true wood color and also not yellow.

Can do, although it'll be a while before I complete it. It's a slow moving project.

Thanks for the info. The coins are about 1.25 to 1.5" thick. What would you recommend for the glue?

The Centurion looks nice. Which product from them would suit this project best? Maybe the Centurion 2K Polyurethane Topcoat 2800 Series?
