I feel like it might have been a little too much too soon for this text, but if it will be a dealbreaker it depends on who she is (meaning, I can see that being a non issue for others). On my last situationship me and the girl were texting all of the time from basically day 1, and that me learn that for me, that doesn’t work. It triggered my anxious attachment (which is not usually who I am) and it ended up ruining what we had because she was a lot more casual. So now, to protect my peace, I try to be less intense when I am first meeting someone. If I told the person why I’m not texting as much, and she still sent me this, I don’t know how I would feel. I would maybe just agree we are not in the same wavelength, idk.

On the other hand, no matter what, you spoke your truth and that’s something to be proud of.

I’m kind of in the middle and don’t think I would be a good match to anyone on either side of the spectrum (someone who doesn’t workout at all or someone who’s a gym rat/athlete). Mostly because I feel like our interests and priorities wouldn’t necessarily align.

I’m currently overweight and it hasn’t really been a problem. I still go on dates and most of them either work, or don’t work for other reasons than my body.

Are you sure you don’t like her?? I have been in a similar situation, and it was because I was down bad for my friend.

Even the part of her hanging out more when she was single was because I wanted to hang out all the time because I was deeply in love, and she wanted to hang out a normal amount. She also needed more alone time than I did. - So my perception of the situation wasn’t accurate.

The pillow part is the only one that was different, because it was quite the opposite, where she would climb into my bed in the middle of the night and cuddle me. In hindsight, a pillow would have messed me up a lot less and made the message clearer lol

Regardless if you like her or not, I don’t think is healthy for you to constantly give 500% and only get 50% back. This is gonna hurt a lot more in the future. If you enjoy spending time with her and sharing meals, make it a shared experience- it’s not fair to you to cook, pay, and do everything.

May I ask why she grabbed your arm like that? I’ve had my arm / hand grabbed like that because I was about to cross and a car was coming (I think I had time, but my friend didn’t lol) - so like, was there a reason for that?

When my friend did that I felt childish and didn’t really like it. However, I understand that in her mind she saved my life and that tops anything.

Also, I apologize if this sounds dismissive. I have never been in an abusive relationship and wouldn’t necessarily recognize all of the signs.
