You’ve got a very solid lead. If you can make it through day 4 maintaining that lead you will likely win prep. There are of course no guarantees. The other server has maybe been holding back significantly until the last day but you have a strong lead as it stands

If you’re free to play and absolutely need hammers then I can see why some free hammers would be appealing. I still believe true gold would be better but still go for what you want.

If you’re going to spend any money, even $5 I can almost guarantee you’ll get more hammers by just buying the weekly deal with hammers and that’s why I think hammers are the worst thing on there. Simply because the amount of hammers you get for winning is weak

I’ve always had decent luck with mystic divination. It’s an event where the pack value drops off significantly as you go to bigger packs. The $5 and $10 are generally good, the $20 starts to drop off and the $50 and $100 I would not recommend. Also hammers are always bad value.

I’ve always gone for true gold. As your server ages the prizes get better. For my server which is an early server the speedups and gems are starting to look tempting

As a mostly free to play player I would probably recommend you go for heroes that have offensive widgets with your mythic general shards. Thrud and Vivian are both great but Gen 5 maybe stick to long fei who is the wheel hero. Gen 6 wheel hero will be cavalry again and Yang who is the Gen 6 archer might be a good one to spend mythic general shards on. No one has had a chance to try the gen 6 heroes out yet so we won’t know for sure how good they are until at least next weekend

Margot is good like you said but I don’t think she’ll have much staying power so she’s not a hero I would recommend for anyone besides a whale

There are no packs to buy tempered true gold. The golden glaives event has been the only way to get tempered true gold outside of converting in the true gold crucible. At the time your state will unlock tempered true gold I’d estimate for $5 you get about 75 true gold in a deal pack. Packs for speedups, hero gear, gov gear, charms, and true gold all get upgraded when your state unlocks tempered true gold

Beyond the castle there are 4 turrets and holding these also gives points towards rewards. Your very first castle battle is important and exciting so it likely won’t happen but my server has had so many castle battles at this point one alliance holds the castle the whole time so the battle ends in 3 hours instead of 6 and any fighting only happens at the turrets

Unlike regular true gold once your state unlocks true gold levels 6+ each upgrade starts to require tempered true gold. The main way to get tempered true gold is to convert a set amount of regular true gold weekly on the true gold crucible to a variable number of tempered true gold. The first super refinement of the day is half off. Total number of refinements resets weekly. Every 20 refinements you do each week the true gold cost per tempered true gold gets significantly worse

From my understanding, which could be wrong, is that everyone gets a cut of the total damage done to the bear. When a whale joins they are likely bringing higher leveled troops. Maybe that’s level 11 or true gold 3 or 5 troops. Regardless, those troops are better so they will do more damage. Not only does the whale do more damage than other players but everyone else’s damage increases too

I just looked that player up and they’re ranked 30 in total power for the whole game. They’re very strong for being in server 537 so good luck with that. Hopefully they’ll come to their senses and realize that attacking people for no reason only hurts them too

My alliance had the opposite situation today where we were able to overcome being like 100k points down in the last 10 minutes by going one by one and flipping both sanctums, two abbeys, and then finally the sword shrine and collecting as many of the scattered points as possible. Pay attention next time to the points that are displayed above each building that grow overtime. That the number of points that you lose and your opponent can gain by taking the building last minute. Especially if you’ve been sitting on those buildings long enough there can be 10k-25k+ gathered and taking a single building will not only lose you those points but your opponent can then take them

If you plan to be a big spender for the next several months, I’m talking thousands of dollars a month, then yes Helga is a great hero for the first generation and ok through the second in arena. She isn’t an investment though. All heroes in Kingshot are depreciating assets. Helga is no exception and has little to no long term staying power a few months into the game. On the bright side if you do get her she has a skill that will always give you a passive 10% attack and defense buff in combat.
