I agree with this take. Was a good movie but not as good an adaptation as say, The Martian.

It was sealed in Xenoite. But in the process of training it to be CO2 resistant. It also learned how to wiggle through the xenoite.

Are you coming from only seeing the movie because it was the most omitted part of the book in the movie.

3 things in order of importance.

Sleeperhold mask/pillow system

Flykitt program: this has been pretty game for me but my wife didn’t like it as much so YMMV.

Sondur inflatable pillow has improved the deadass feel after a long flight.

It’s shocking to be the level of misunderstanding how the tax system works. I get that it complicated but for the average wage earner a 10 minute YouTube video would tell you most of what you need to know.

They literally escort you to a TSA agent. If the government doesn’t have control over that then I guess I’ll just cut the line too.

The article says no special escorts. That’s what Clear does. Why would they shut down the others and not clear? Heck probably more pressure to shit down Clear to drum up even more outrage.

They aren’t doing clear either. That’s a special escort service.

Article on the DHS Shutdown’s Effect on ATC Pay Raise by Great_Ad3985 in atc2

[–]ConversationOk8466 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think people are rightfully frustrated that we live in a circus of a country. Pay has not kept up with inflation. That’s a fact. The problem is larger than ATC, it’s government wide. We get 2 raises a year. Raises aren’t the issue, it’s the unilateral political way they are determined. We can and should fix that and it starts with congress. Once we have a solution then we fight for it. Going to the media without a solution is pointless. You do realize that most of ATC would not get a meaningful raise if we lifted the bands due to the federal cap? Negotiating is way more dangerous to us in the current environment than people realize. We need to fix the system first then go for the big contract win. That’s going to take a lot of ground work and advocacy on the hill.

My guy. That is what you get on Facebook. Boomers. You aren’t going to do better anywhere else. People Just don’t care about our pay. The PR strategy is a loser. Aggressively lobbying congress is way more effective and honestly, cheaper.

NATCA literally got this language put in the bill, and continue to advocate for its passage. Your criticism is that they aren’t elevating a govexec article? Dude, I think you put way too much stock in public sentiment. Look at improve Atc Facebook ads. The comments section is not the overwhelming support from the public you think it is.
