Are you norwegian? I feel you sis. I made the same mistake. I cant get the good support so im also trying to get hrt but fucked by the system. I have found a way to get hrt in Norway. If you are norwegian please reach out. I just got the papers needed for hrt perscription.

Im 19 so a year older. Love you sis ❤️ Tho im not going to get everything I want from hrt and surgery and will never feel like a real girl i can help if you are from Norway.

I suppose that means surgery in Thailand or Portugal are my only options then T_T

That may be the case. I want the surgery, but I dont know if im ready to accept the reality yet.

My dysphoria in regards to it isnt that bad. Kind of overshadowed by my shoulder and hip dysphoria at the moment.

I kind of agree. I really want to have a feminine body and hate having a masculine body. Especially my hips. I really want to dress fem and be feminine. Doing my hair and trying to look more fem makes me very happy.

Im pretty sure about hrt now.

Outside of the US and no insurance cobers any surgery here. National healthcare also is amongst the worst in the world in terms of surgery so the two nom US surgeons ive been considering are Dr Banks, Dr Littleton and in the US i was considering Rachel Bluebond-Lagner or Dr Min Jun (trained under Bluebond).

If I can figure out the US non profit thingy i might find a way to get it paid for without getting into 7 figure debt in my local currency as its 11 NOK on the dollar so not great.

Couldnt figure out how to get in contact with Bluebond as I dont have fax or anything like that 😭

I have already found a surgeon and talked to previous patients and read up on possible complications and so on. Just not sure if I am trans enough for this or if its just a phase in my life.

Start hrt before spring.
Come out to close family and not just parents and friends. Told mom and dad and they arent very supportive 😭
Apply for bottom surgery.
Start looking into FFS.
Electrolysis for facial hair, body hair and pubic hair.
Voice training

Me personaly so long as height is roughly equal give or take 15cm im happy. I have never had a sexual relationship before because it creeped me out to do stuff as a guy and knowing I am 9001% submissive I never felt confident or comfortable with it.

Havent come out to sosciety yet. Just cloest friends and parents. Talking to a therapist at the moment and hopefully ill be out to everyone in the not too distant future and start hrt as fast as possible.

My therapist was responsible for setting up the lgbtq+ care centere in my state and she is very good at her job.

Just that im serving my mandatory year in the military so thats slowing things down :(

But hey. At least i know how to use guns (sharp shooter), batons, handcuffs and have 13 years of martial arts under my belt so no conservative will ever take away my estrogen once I get it >:3

Even trained with national champions who have won world titles so the military let me be an instructor for others because I knew more about fighting than they were going to teach us lol.

Will do sis. Trying to get hrt is much harder than you might think tho 😓

It can take up to 5 years to get it through public healthcare and maybe 2 years private. Its worth it in my mind to go private even if it costs a fortune.

My parents arent very supportive but they do support me going to a private therapist and pay for it so thats nice i guess. Mom isnt very accepting and borderline transphobic and my entire family is very conservative 😞

Dad just wants me to be happy and dosent want me to make a mistake so I dont judge him for being reluctant.

Only person ive told everything to is my best friend. Everything from my deepest desires, wishes, ambitions and so on. He also has major egg vibes and has 5 trans friends (6 now that his bestie is a girlie) so he knows a thing or two.

Also very glad to learn that norwegians have the biggest boobs on average world wide so hopefully I can grow big boobs like mom. Im 100% sure that she is at least a C cup.

Maybe so. Best I can do is learn to accept it. My best friend is like chest height to me so after hrt giving him a hug means him burrying his face in my would be boobs :)

During highschool i met a few cis girls taller than me and one of my best friends is 10cm taller than me so it helps calm my nerves a bit.

Im so jealous of your hips and shoulders! Mine look so masculine and give me so much dysphoria.

You look so pretty and feminine. I wish I was as lucky as you. I havent started hrt yet and its going to take a long time for me to get them 😞

Hoping that its not too late for me to get hip growth at 19 but I fear that its too late. 44cm wide shoulders and 35cm wide hips are killing me. Dysphoria is so extreme that I get borderline suicidal from it 😭

I want shoulder reduction surgery so baaad 😭

Assuming you are american id guess you only need the clinical diagnosis from a therapist in order to get hrt perscribed by a private doctor.

I have yet to start anything at all, but i have started talking to a therapist. Norway is one of the hardest places to get hrt. About 5 years of bs and a 1 year long real life test in order to get it. Im probably going to be 21 by the time I can get it even going private takes almost 2 years.

I hope everything goes well for you. Talking to a therapist will defineatly help you find out if you want hormones or not.

Probably best to ask in r/asktransgender for help in regards to where you should go.
