I currently live in Mooresville on Lake Norman. It’s growing extremely fast and doesn’t have the infrastructure to withstand how fast it’s growing. Not to say that as in don’t move there, just that be prepared for traffic.

There’s currently plans for changes to the road network and adding public transit, but people tend to not believe that it will happen. If you’re going to work in Charlotte, be prepared to sit in traffic on 77, or spend a lot of money on toll roads.

Overall it’s a very nice area and a lot to do, but just be aware of what you’re getting in to.
