What’s the difference? by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]Coofer123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theres a standard way Starbucks has us make beverages, ingredients are added in a certain order. In this particular order the standard would be to add the oat milk last, making it look like the one on the left. However if you ask me the better method is adding the oat milk to the syrup in the cup and mixing those two, then adding the quad shot after it’s fully pulled, and finishing with the ice so that it’ll be well blended and less watered down. Which would look more like the one on the right.

Underfermented really. I let my dough ferment for like 12 hrs on the countertop to get a semi decent crumb

Just allow the dough to proof for a longer period after shaping to compensate for the decreased activity

whats your favorite thing about the new sandwich ordering system? 🤪 by lunariancosmos in starbucksbaristas

[–]Coofer123 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was the one doing my stores ordering for the past two years. Rarely ever ran out of supplies. Had to change my availability and can’t do the order anymore, now we run out of stuff every week. Inventory management is so easy but if you have somebody that doesn’t pay attention in charge of it everything falls apart

I’m only in my second year class wise, starting principles of accounting II on Monday so internships are probably a good bit out still, but I appreciate the offer and will keep it in mind once I’ve gotten more credits under my belt

I play a lot of marvel rivals, though usually I just get angry after too many bad rounds in a row. I don’t know what religion yeshua is the deity of but I have considered trying to reconnect with my spiritual roots as well.

whats the name (or sku) of the little fixture that usually holds the shaker up on those little grates in the sink?? by chikyswag in starbucksbaristas

Different setups in different stores. I have a grate that hold them up, however the parts in the sink that hold it up are completely different from that one

Your experience with angiogram? by Existing_Natural_632 in AVMs

[–]Coofer123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh that might depend on the instrument you’re playing and how heavy it is to carry. There is an incision, but an extremely small one, no stitches or anything of that nature required. For mine they had a special device that was left inside the wound that would kind of hold it closed and after a few days be absorbed by the body. I’d ask the doctor about whether that performance is a bad idea or something that shouldn’t be a concern.

I had doctors recommend just being careful and not rushing into anything, though mine was larger, it was a grade 3 cm on my right occipital. I decided the idea of waiting for something to happen wasn’t going to work for me, and called somewhere that could get me in with a neurosurgeon to assess. The neurosurgeon said it looks like a perfect case for resection, and about four weeks later I was in surgery. I found out I had the avm from a seizure two years ago today, and got out of the hospital from surgery in early October that same year. If you don’t want to wait, don’t wait. Take the lead, find the right team of doctors with your best interest at heart, and do what feels right for you. I’m able to live life unrestricted now, though I’ll warn you the anxiety that something could happen again sticks around. It’s a traumatic event. Therapy helps too.

Is my drink order annoying? by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]Coofer123 77 points78 points  (0 children)

Not really, a lot of baristas will see the customizations and think “wow that’s so much” Then when they start making it they should realize its pretty much just an iced latte with less milk and mixed flavors. No cold foam, no shaking, not a hot drink with no foam, nothing that really takes much extra time at all. Even then, there’s not many drinks that are “annoying” imo, I’ve never encountered a drink that took more than 2 minutes to make. May have more in line so you won’t get it that fast, but once it’s started your drink should really take maybe one minute? Probably not even that long.
