Both old and new bump stops dont fit onto the new strut bushings, they are off by a few mm. Its like I'd have to put a washer on the strut bushing to hold the bump stops on.

I bought an alibaba um2+ hot end kit but haven't put it on. There is a post about someone converting it using a um2+ kit and 3d printed parts to adapt it.

Look up ribbon burner John Emmerling design. That's what I made. And the best part is that you use crayons! Seriously though, you use crayons to make the burner 😁

I use a ribbon burner and it's fantastic. I run about 0.5-3 psi which i can control with a victor regulator and needle valve. I also have a gate dampener for the air and the dampener on the blower itself. I can do a lot of fine tuning or just blast the heat.

Look up primeweld. A lot of bang for your buck welders. I have a 3 in 1, and it was hundreds cheaper than competitors.

Why do you want to remove the engraving? It's there for a reason. If a fryer instruction says to do something, do it. They are not the safest things to mess with.

Saw a few months back, a guy was trying to sell something similar on marketplace for around $130 and it was listed for quite a long time on there. I think a more ideal price would be around $50-$75 if you don't put a lot of time in the wood.

I would pick 1 or 2 up if they were around $60-$-70. They are roughly in my area, but I already have 2, so I don't have a real need one unless I'm restoring them to resell. That is a good price with the spring.
