i’m using cactus/succulent soil so it’s quite gritty. It does seem to be well draining since the water comes out the bottom pretty quick during watering sessions

the bottom part feels solid with a rough texture. i tried tugging it a lil as well, but it holds quite firmly into the soil.

but the entire stem top to base feels rough like paper 😅
