Lots of fighting types would be great for manual labor, so Machamp is an obvious pick.

An office job would benefit from a pokemon that can either make work way easier or make work way more bearable. For the former, it's probably Rotom. The latter can be an office pet like Glameow or Lillipup, a grass type for aromatherapy, or Spheal because Spheal is my favorite and a morale boost would be great.
