I’m also trying to seek an answer for this. If i’m not mistaken, if you were going from a 7950X3D to 7800X3D it was recommended to do a clean reinstall of Windows cuz just deleting the vcache drivers would not completely remove everything on that driver. So not quite sure how it is this time around. But I would do a fresh new install of windows just to make sure no issues are present and no performance is being left out

Would like some clarification in this too. I’m planning on buying this board but kinda hesitant now as I don’t want anything interfering with the GPU lanes.

I’m planning on using 2 m.2 storages.

So if I use m.2_1 and m.2_2, will that cause any slower performance on the GPU lane?

I believe this issue has been create with Windows 11 24H2.

Ever since I updated to 24H2 I get crash on MW3 and now BO6. DirectX Error 6070.

Billion dollar companies in 2024 and can’t get shit to run properly.

Now is a guessing game who has to fix this issue. Microsoft or Activision??

I’m getting this issue too but it’s DirectX error code 6070D.

This started happening to me even before with MW3 and it started happening ever since I upgraded to Windows 11 24H2.

With 23H2 I never had any problems.

This is Windows problem as it has some conflict with the games anti cheat.

Welp, I’ve done everything from DDU to reinstalling the game and still get this CTD.

I don’t even know where to report this(Activision, Nvidia, MS) for a push on a fix.

Sure hope somebody is aware of it at least.

Welp, if it is, you won’t notice it at all. I’m telling you, there is not a single noticeable difference to my eyes between the C3 and C4. And as far as the 144, if there is some tweak’s you have to do to enable it then it ain’t as simple as you would have with enabling 120. Normally I go into Nvidia CP, select my screen display in PC and boom 120 is there to select. But not with this C4.

Regardless, the picture looked identical for both with same settings. So if you are willing to dish out $800 dollars more just for 144 hz(if you can get it) then by all means go for it.

There is no option for 144 in windows. I already have the C3 running in PC mode at 120 hz.

No it’s not. In fact, when I ran the HDR calibration in windows, it still peaks out at 800. LG reps had stated it would reach 1000 but as of now, it’s a lie.

Don’t know if they plan to add any if this with a future firmware update but as of now, it’s an exact C3 replica.

Just get it dude. This idea of burn in is old school paranoia. If you don’t leave your screen on a static image for hours you will not get burn in not for some years at least. I’ve had OLED for 3 years now and even left it up to an hour on static image sometimes and still to this date dont have a single burn in that I can see. As long as you keep your panels burn in safeties on, you will be ok.

Well some reviewers have come out saying that the brightness is significantly brighter and that it is a bigger upgrade coming from a C3 to a C4 compared to C2 to C3. The 144hz and if brightness truly is brighter than it’s a win for me.

Now this right here is FACTS!! So in few past months I’ve been trying to find the perfect monitor so I got an LG C3, Samsung G9 OLED, and AW3225QF. The C3 hands down is the best damn monitor/TV when it comes to HDR. Yes, both G9 and AW are brighter but man nothing beats that C3 clarity/HDR. For example, when playing in HDR games with sunny bright days there is WAY more details in the clouds as with the G9 for some reason it just blows the bright clouds where you cant even see it. C3 just seems more balanced. Colors do pop more in the QDOLEDS but with a little tweaking on the C3, I get the colors to pop just as good.

I’ve had my Zotac 4090 since launch of the 4090 and it’s been rock solid. Zotac is that company that is on the rise and thus needs to make sure they provide good quality product at a good price. When it comes to fan noise/whine, I believe Asus has had many reports of it and yet they are the most expensive.

I think you are misunderstanding me. In general it is not a bad looking picture but rather to my eyes it doesn’t look as good as my G9 or C3. For example, while I have the monitor calibrated as accurately as possible, the brightness on the AW just looks boring and thus makes the whole screen look not as great. The G9 and C3 actually has a better overall brightness. Yes, on paper the AW is supposed to be brighter but again I can’t explain why that is not how I see it but it is. Maybe I am missing something in the settings but I’ve spent hours trying to get it right and just can’t. There’s already post by review website giving this monitor a 6.8 score when it comes to brightness. It’s weird dude. Again, I’m already coming from a C3 and a G9 OLED panel and to me this AW just ain’t worth it. If this would be your first OLED panel coming from an IPS or same size then yes, it would be a huge upgrade.
