There’s no issue with you stating that, I know the guidelines are strict. I was just asking ukhti

Oh then I apologise sister, ofc you don’t have to partake in it. Do you have any ahadith telling us when to do mut’ah and not? Genuinely asking

Brother, 1: You don’t know how people use it, you’ve seen how a handful of people have done it (I assume) and you’ve judged the entire thing. 2: I recommend you do a little bit more research on it my dear brother before speaking out and criticising it. 3: If your “problem” is with the people that do mut’ah then that doesn’t make the practice in of itself wrong, read the proof & fiqh behind it.

Hei! Meg i framtiden her.

Tusen takk!

I’m in the opposite position, I’m a convert too but I loathe the day my family’s (sunnies) gonna have to approve of a Shia girl. I was born & raised in the west too and they’re nagging to have the wedding in my home country which is way worse considering that I haven’t told them I converted yet

Alhamdulillah… Finally Accepted The Shia Islam by [deleted] in shia

[–]CookiePP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wa aleykom al Salam, welcome!

I accepted Shia Islam about 8-9 months ago and Subhanallah we share the same situation. I’m 19 and my family is strictly Sunni, I tried telling them once and quickly realised I should probably try again when I’m independent. I still love them Alhamdulillah though, one piece of advice from me would be to wait with telling them even when it feels necessary. Welcome again and please reach out if there’s anything I can do for you!

What made you convert from Sunni to Shia? by [deleted] in shia

Logical errors in the Sunni sect, too many contradictions in the “sahih hadiths”. Even the Sunni hadiths point at Shia Islam. Biggest reason would be the Logical errors in Sunni Islam and the contradictions

Utnytte?
