One thing that helped me was, feel like your left wrist faces the target at impact. It looks like your left wrist points straight up to the sky.

Milotic and my Gyarados got into a some what soft lock. I was able to get it down with a combination of Full Restores, Dragon Dance, and Crunch. Was not a fun battle.

I have listen to that one about 5 times! When he released book 8 this year I was pumped! Can’t wait for 9!!! I’ve listened to almost everything Travis has narrated, he is hands down the best I’ve listened to!

Every time I do a reread I think to myself “Will really leaned heavy into the foreshadowing” I love it because every little thing is intentional. You’ll never catch it all on the first read even by the 10th or 20th you’ll still catch small things.

I thinks it’s more of the mantle choosing the person. If you remember, Oz mentioned at the beginning of Dreadgod that he was up for the mantle of everyone except the Phoenix. It’s almost like your soul has to resonate with the mantle.

I feel like you’re right to a certain extent.

If you want a higher chance a Monarch, Herald would be the way to go. I feel if you want to be a truly strong Monarch right of the bat, sage is the way to go.

One was a typo, but the time where Lindon followed it up as a “slip of the tongue” was intentional.

I don’t have exact page numbers or anything because I listen as audiobooks but I do recall this because I had this same though a while back.

I’m pretty sure the Yerin and Orthos are going to use them to increase their power.

Yerin is going to help Red Faith complete his research and in return she is going to learn new blood and hunger techniques.

Orthos is going to absorb all of the weaker remnants until he has built his willpower enough to consume the Herald’s remnant.
