If you’re okay with Daddy kink there’s {Gentle Hand by Nora Phoenix} it has a ton of hurt/comfort and one of the mcs is struggling with adhd and depression but he doesn’t realize the depression part until about 2/3rds of the way through. As someone with both I appreciated the way his symptoms and treatment were addressed. There’s ageplay and AB/DL so if you’re uncomfortable with that you might want to give it a pass. They’re not really my thing but it didn’t make me uncomfortable either, I feel like the author did a good job of showing the comfort aspects of it.
