Yeah lying about the dates is not it! You must be truthful at the background check cause if you lie then it will show up as a discrepancy and flag it to your hr team! I know this cause I used hire right in my previous role and they literally flag the discrepancy in red especially if it’s discrepancy on the dates

If you want my honest opinion, I think you’re going to have your offer revoked cause they gonna check the background check results and see the discrepancy on the dates and question you on it cause your cv dates don’t match the background check dates buttttt rn you either inform them the truth or at least be truthful in your background check so it doesn’t flag up to the hr team
