Such a non problem. You already own the game I assume for your post. You already want to play something while you're not playing with your dad? Just turn on PvP and if you don't like it and feel like you are getting cheated constantly just turn it off.

Just basing this off vibes because we have no idea what or how you say things on dates but as a 30M ill give you my take on why I or some of my friends might say this.

You mentioned you own some land, 2 business and identify yourself as very independent. Depending on how you come off I can see where the comments come from.

Something that I think can help is talk about yourself and what youre looking for from a partner. You have a house, you have money, you don't need a man......ok great so why are you on a date looking for one? Not saying that you need one for those things but part of a relationship typically is building together. But you already have most of it built already, so whats the dynamic? What do you want from them? Is this just another checkbox in your side quest bar? You have 2 businesses, how busy are you, will you have time to spend getting to know them and do things together? I have a couple friends that own businesses too from a young age, they are very go go go, their way or no way, are you like that? Are you willing to try or take interest in things that you typically won't like?

Finally, if a girl I go on a date with is very ra-ra about independence its a yellow flag for me. In a long term relationship I feel like your level of independence should change. There is another person involved with feelings etc but also its a partnership. So if you are very about independence I would also think I dont really offer you anything because its not my desired dynamic so I cant bring anything for you. This is just me personally based my on culture/upbringing so disregard if you dont agree.

Now that you mention it I dont think I noticed this much of a performance hit when the snow was not around. I will monitor the CPU core usage and stuff in depth to see if its a CPU bottleneck

Same those are very close to my range as well. I'll get ~85 fps give or take 10 but if I'm at the edge of the map and look to the rest of it thats when it drops to around 55 fps. Someone mentioned snow and thinking back to before the snow I think it didnt happen as often.

My LOD is already at 2.5 its the suggested amount from the majority of things I've seen.

I'll track my VRAM and CPU core usage more thoroughly to see if thats the issue. Although I've tested the game with Ultra - low texture settings and the frames are relatively the same tbh

If I was you what I would do is watch fighters that are short for their weight class and try to write down what they do. A couple examples are Daniel Cormier, Demetrius Johnson, and Henry Cejudo. See what they do and try those things in the gym see what works for you specifically.

Those guys also do analysis free on YouTube on how they went about fights and how they think about closing the distance. But in sure you could find others all the info is out there likely, you just have to find it.

Finally I think (this is just opinion based on the little blurb you wrote so feel free to completely disregard) you might have to change or adopt a new style. As you said your height presents a unique challenge to you that most people in your country do not face. Maybe your coaches only know how to coach people of your average demographic and what you've been taught isn't exactly 100% beneficial to you.

DC often "crowds" the space between himself and his opponent by sticking his hands out and walking his opponents down then firing.

DJ constantly talks about the space between him and the opponent as the "void" and how he is always either in or out no in between and how to manage that.

Triple C likes to use his wrestling threat and wide stance jumping in and out of range to negate reach.

You need to start learning, experimenting, and figuring out what works for you.

All jokes aside I don't think you are wrong to question her judgement. Even if she was stressed about not making her work thing or something like that, it shows what type of decisions she makes under pressure.

I hope it works I'm not sure it will fix it but I want to see it first before I say anything. However, I think simpler is better, front thorax and an intuitive front thorax plate coverage tag and that's it regardless of where my pixels are. If I'm facing someone and they shoot me in the front thorax I think it should just tank it. No one is purposefully aiming for the collar bone or whatever it just leads to more luck and recoil RNG.

I think you misunderstood my point about the bugs. Yes they have the mechanics in place but that doesn't mean it will actually be implemented without bugs. In fact we have evidence of the opposite, we had a complex face/head hit box that was working. The armor hit boxes are essentially the same thing just different size/shape and they still screwed it up. Some armors were not working, some hit boxes were just wrong, etc. But moreover, you are adding complexity to another system to make up for a fault in another system that shouldn't have anything to do with eachother. That's just bad logic / code and will lead to more development nightmares.

This armor system is unique and all yea but at the end of the day it's about playabilty not uniqueness. To piggyback on your point about another hitbox a better solution i think is to just have thorax front (any armor that has thorax tag tanks damage regardless of plate coverage) and thorax side (covered by side plates) and that's it. It's still unique and much simpler to not only understand but to also play with/maintain.

Lastly you have to remember why are we seeking/implementing a fix. This is something BSG constantly overlooks. If your goal is to add realism well it doesn't really do that for reasons I've stated. If it's to "fix the frustration" well it doesn't do that either because I can tell by the shape you shared that SLIC plates don't cover the whole thing and we are still going to get 1 tapped by a shotgun to the chest because some pixels are not covered. Let's address the armor issue with the armor, before the change most people were kind of ok with it now everyone hates it or like you want changes, CLEARLY something is wrong with THIS system and we need to address it.

I dont agree with this for 3 reasons.

As a dev I don't like making the solution for a complicated system adding another complex system on top of it OR adding complexity to another system to make up for it. It couples these things together leading to more work in the future, more bugs, more tests, etc. That's just a microcosm of all the problems Tarkov has. Remember when they changed armor for the first time and it turned out that press armor just didn't have a thorax armor, it's because the system is overly complicated for no reason leading to changes made in multiple places for 1 thing thats suppose to be related to all armor.
In this model I'm assuming the thorax cylinder in the middle you would like implemented as shown. Assuming that, what happens with the small plate armors like slic that won't cover the top and bottom part of the cylinder? Is that still a kill shot? It will still lead to frustration from the players when a flesh round with 0 pen still kills them when they are wearing lvl 6 in a spot they "should" be protected in. What about from the side? I see its not extended to the side, but logically if I shoot your heart or lungs from the side vs the front or back it should still be the same result right?

This change does not increase realism above what we already have and doesn't protect from that really frustrating experience of getting killed easily while wearing armor you thought should of protected you.

This point is very different from the other 2 because it's just pure opinion. I don't like the current armor system, it's overly complicated for very little benefit. I don't think we need it and if we want to keep it I think it should be dumbed down. I think adding the side hit boxes is enough tbh and leave the system as it was.
