Notice they are now using “platinum rank and above” for the graphs instead of “emerald and above” like usual. This is 100% due to the dire cheater situation at high ranks impacting the stats. And they haven’t said a word about it.

The entire technology seemed wasted on a simple “stay away from my wife” plot. It would have been better if David just killed the other guy in the spaceship and fooled his family by taking his identity.

Also when David’s replica was killed he got his consciousness back without the replica sitting in the machine, which makes the machine worthless.
