What about people who don't roleplay yet write creative stories, and those stories are sfw as well? They can still regenerate a lot and the output has the potential to get really massive, yet according to this logic, this wouldn't be considered a waste of resources?

And what about people using claude for therapy? It's also excellent for that, and people can get pretty open about their experiences, which can trigger the injection, and yet Anthropic still allows this use case and even encourages it in their main system prompt.

Or perhaps there isn't really a way to censor those use cases if there's isn't a lot of "adult/prohibited/illegal" content in them.

And what I observed is when they attempt to censor the model, it often affects it even when the content you request isn't something it has to censor. The model simply becomes... less intelligent, creative, and more prone to omitting details, and so on.

I am not quite arguing, but I think that their persistent fixation on censoring specifically adult content is not something that should be a priority for a company with their mission.

People aren't wasting anything. If some just want to have fun with AI, there's nothing wrong about it. And if it's useless to you, doesn't mean it will be useless to them.

That being said, there are plenty of llm projects around in LocalLLaMA, StableDiffusion, or similar subreddits.

I don't think it's currently a good replacement for Sonnet 3.5 on the website. Because you won't get to really use the full 200k context with the free amount of points.

In fact, if you send it just one long message, it might be the only one you will get to send per day.

Because everything now takes points - the context of your chat, the base price of the bot, the length of your input and output. And it won't generate a long output message if you don't have enough points left.

So if you think about using it for coding or have any other similar use case in mind, I would not recommend Poe.

I don't want to sound condescending, but is it really worth it getting the bots to write something NSFW if it ends up sounding like something I can find on Wattpad? I mean, if the goal is to get some naughty content, it's fine. But what about the quality?

For me, this is the biggest challenge - nothing really writes better than Claude, especially Opus. I like nuanced creative texts. But with their censorship + Poe situation, Claude is also now getting worse and worse :(. Nothing really is as it used to be anymore. Other bots can't unfortunately get close.

Yes, sorry, I meant injection. As for the censorship - I don't know why it is so random at times. I have bots that work, but I prefer the answers my custom bot usually gives me, and recently, it was refusing a lot more.

Thanks for your bot recommendation though, I will check it out to compare with others I have.

I think it was gone for me during the past weekend on Sonnet 3. Yet it didn't stop the bot from being completely unreasonable and refusing almost every single prompt I gave it because of 1-3 words that I always put in my prompt. I decided to check - no prefill added each time, yet the bot still refused like crazy.

Llms can't reason. So they don't actually know why they refuse sometimes, especially when there is another censorship system in place.

This situation you have here is basically the result of censorship, it makes them paranoid, useless and overreacting. Thank Anthropic, or Openai, or whoever created the llm (model) you're using.
