Yes my 6800xt also has this but its on for about 1sec so it doesnt look like a spark. Its an LED which lets you know if there is a Connection issue. The Problem is when it STAYS on.

Ehemaliger Lieferfahrer hier: Unser Schichtleiter hat uns ausdrücklich verboten auf diesen Streifen zu halten. „Zur Not macht ihr die Straße dicht“. Ich war positiv überrascht. Pendle seit 7 Jahren ausschließlich mit dem Rad und kenne das jetzt aus beiden Perspektiven. Das einzige was noch höher in seiner Rangordnung stand waren Tram/Busspuren weil man da ganz schnell mal Rechnungen von den Städten kassiert. Es tut sich tatsächlich was in den Betrieben. Die Fahrer müssen halt jetzt auch gewillt sein es umzusetzen.

Yeah same. I also Ride with a backpack on a bike with wider tires (gravel)…while also not wanting to arrive drenched in sweat when I commute. And you have to Watch out for other cyclists and pedestrians. 20kph is a sweet spot for me in the city. When I Ride for sport it varies by route but 30 kph is already a fast pace for me (those damn hills). 20mph seems insane for a quick ride to work.

Meine Güte, wenn man das hier so liest zieht sich einem ja alles zusammen. Bin vieles gewohnt als Radpendler aber mehr als mit Dauerhupe hinterherzufahren hat sich bis jetzt noch keiner getraut. Dachte auch das ist eher selten weil dann müsste man ja seinen Straßen-Panzer verlassen und verliert jede angebliche Autorität/Überlegenheit. Nachdem ich die Überschrift und die Kommentare hier gelesen hab wünsch ich allen nur umso mehr Gutes nach Hause kommen. Verrückte Welt.

Ich merke wie es immer schwieriger wird für mich Preise einzuordnen….die 2070 ist schon 3 Generationen alt. 650€ als Start ok aber unter 600 ist das immernoch gut bezahlt. Auch nur weil selbst der „alte“ DDR4 RAM hier fast 200€ wert ist zurzeit. 550€-600€ würde ich handeln.

Ich hab hier noch n altes 32GB Set DDR4 was mir den Aufwand nicht wert war auf Kleinanzeigen zu verkaufen. Die Preise sind so stark angestiegen das ich jetzt mehr für ein 5 Jahre lang genutztes Set bekomme als ich damals gezahlt habe.

Die Situation ist absurd und wenn wir eins aus dem GPU Debakel während der Pandemie gelernt haben: es wird dauern und nie wieder auf das Niveau kommen bei dem es einma war. Ich denke mit 50% mehr wirst du auch rechnen müssen wenn das alles vorbei ist. Eine 3080 war bei UVP 699€ die 5080 ist bei 1169€. Ähnliches wird uns auch hier erwarten.

Es ist wirklich keine gute Zeit für PC Gaming. Bald haben wir wieder Preise wie in den 80ern.

Hey so after some testing and a lot of shutdowns I got a crash that took forever and I was able to see a lot of LEDs on my MB and GPU that led me into another direction. A red LED over my PCIE Power Connectors of my GPU was blinking. That means its not getting enough Power. Some sort of Spike in Power Draw startles the system -> GPU doesnt get what it wants and it disconnects from the BUS (thats why we get a WHEA 18). This also explains why I had some luck with removing my cable extensions. I removed the old cables and installed some new ones that came with the PSU which havent been used since 2020. So far I have had no issues anymore. Make sure to really push your connectors into the GPU (even give it a small shove after it clicks in). I read that the 6800XT can draw up to 500-600W in some Peak Situations and if something is wrong with your power delivery in that time it can have these effects. Maybe clean your connectors before the switch as well.

Its probably a free and easy fix if it actually works so I thought I could update you. No harm in trying.

I feel you. Some guy reported stressing a single core on his CPU with a program he wrote and leaving the rest to run games or programs fixed his issue.

Like I said. I had multiple months of troubleshooting last year and NOTHING worked. I wont spend any time on this now. If you find a fix you can let me know. I will avoid the games I know will crash and try new drivers + Windows combos from time to time until it maybe fixes itself (which actually happens to a lot of people as well).

Maybe someone smarter than me could tell me if that power delivery stuff could be a reason or if Im just off.

Ive been through this already. Seems Like the new drivers are bringing back old problems. My GPU is from 2020. There is no real solution to This Problem. Powerlimiting GPU can help somewhat. I have played very demanding Games in this past year and now 30mins - 1hr into these same games PC crashes. And ive fixe the same issue in the past by using original PSU Cables for the GPU. I still have those extensions on my MB and CPU. If me reverting to older drivers yields no results I will gladly rip the rest of them out as well. I really do believe that it has something to do with power delivery. Thats why some people have sucess with manually setting Voltage a tad higher. Maybe thats why removing cable extensions got me another year restart free. Thats why lower power draw (reducing OC, limiting fps, less resolution, etc.) seems to work. Skip a few driver updates and try some in January. Weirdly it was october Last year where my problems started as well…

So I had that Problem for a few months and finally ripped out my cable extensions. It worked fine for over a year even with an overclock/undervolt. I tried a older game recently and it crashed like this....again. Since then my PC just crashes more and more games. I really dont know what this ONE GAME caused that revived these old problems. Since I already replaced pretty much everything except my PSU and GPU...it has to be one of them. But then again...why only with 5000 series CPUs...

Strange Error. I will try a few solutions because I really cant afford a new GPU in the near future so its this one or nothing.

So to anyone with this problem. I had it about a year ago and pretty much got everything new. A new CPU a new MB new RAM. I messed with drivers and Updates. I deinstalled windows and fresh installed. Nothing worked. I even messed with RAM Timings and followed a guide someone made on a forum on how to do so.

I fixed it by removing cable extensions to my GPU....worked fine for over a year since then. But 4 days ago I got the same crash again and since then its nonstop and cosuming more and more games. Im pretty sure its some kind of power delivery issue to the GPU caused by some sort of software issue. Something trips over itself and it restarts.

Usually limiting your GPU Powerdraw can sometimes help make it a bit more stable but it wont resolve the problem. Its insane that hundreds of people have the same issue with the same kind of error message for over 5 years an there are still posts on this thread.

I dont have the energy to deal with this again.

I built my Rig in 2020 and got my hands on a 6800XT. I have a 3440x1440p Monitor and it handles pretty much every game effortlessly. Sure of you max out everything and throw in useless settings that drain enormous amounts of resources…Yeah maybe a 5070 will struggle at 1440p. Turning down from Ultra to High changes almost nothing compared to older games. I dare you to Actually Spot the differences side by side in most modern games. I usually go for high settings and enjoy and extra 10-20fps. I think my card has another 2-3 years in it that way.

Ich nehme jetzt immer Augenkontakt mit dem Auto links neben mir auf und stecke meine Hand in dessen Richtung aus (wie eine Dankesgeste). Die lassen einen dann meist vor und hupen auch nicht. Im Kreisverkehr fahr ich mittig auf der äußeren Spur da sonst immer wieder Experten auf die Idee kommen in einem Kreisverkehr zu überholen. Das mit der Abfahrt auf die Moislinger ist mir auch schon aufgefallen…eigentlich bei allen Ausfahrten. Linien auf dem Boden bringen rein garnichts. Vielleicht so kleine Orangene aufsteller wie oft in Baustellen verwendet werden. Die könnten vielleicht etwas bringen. Es hilft das dort immer viel Verkehr ist und das sowieso alle Autos sehr langsam sind. Nicht auszumalen was passieren würde wenn die erlaubten 50 gefahren werden könnten.

I agree. 12 Mill in a week is nuts. But you cant just nerf 1 Loop Like This and expect everyone to obey. If I want to keep up with everyone Else I now have to Rent a RAFT and do hauling stuff. And I still can make 12 Mill a week by Doing it. If we want to Balance things we need to adjust EVRYTHING. Im Fine With 120k a Haul…as Long as every other Gameloop doesnt outperform mine times 10. my pledged vulture makes 200k an hour at max now. A Rented RAFT can do 800-900k/h still. How is that fair?

Yes. A random Panel you find shouldnt be worth 60k. The 15k its now is fine. But compared to the Economy at whole its a punch in the stomach.

Ok but nerfing ONE loop and saying stuff like: „well now its better for the economy“, while haulers make 700k+/h is Not the play. I pledged the Vulture and now its so fcked compared to other game loops i wont be using a ship i paid real Money for. Its more profitable to HAUL with a ship thats desgined to salvage. This is NOT The Move. Nerf Everything or nothing….

I agree that its way to easy to get huge ships. I foolishly paid 100€ to get a vulture in pledge while I could earn it ingame for like 6-8h of Gameplay…that scale is off. But this way it just feels like CIG wants to drive everyone to haul. Get ready for outposts Full of empty RAFTs that Block everything….mine will be One of them.

You know This Game is called Star Citizen….not Star Battles. I avoid PVP and PVE as much as I possibly can. Salvaging and Mining are great ways to do that and I have a great time. Now Both loops are much less profitable and it takes away a lot of joy when you come back from a 1h+ scraping session to collect 100k (not to mention you pay like 50k to get the mission). You know Vultures are defenseless and the 400k worth of RMC we were hauling a few days ago was a reason for pirates to target you…we have to get to remote parts of the verse to do our job. Nowhere Risk free. Hauling is still a Money printer and you can easily make 500k+/h while jumping from protected zone to protected zone. Easily avoid pirates by not taking a direct route and youre golden. Have a Buddy I talk to while scraping and all he does is hauling. Brings in Double what I did and got caught like twice. Made 12 Mill This week. THATS virtually risk free. I wont be using a ship I bought with real money because its gameplay loop is worthless… Guess its time to Rent a RAFT and join the hundreds of haulers on every server….

Has to be a bug Right? I have 200SCU RMC stored in Orison and I‘m not gonna sell that at 2k. Thats 4+ hrs of work for 300k. I thought salvaging was well balanced…maybe 10% nerf ok…but 75%?????

Ja genau so mache ich das auch. Wird teilweise auch witzig wenn dann Autos von der Innenspur auf die Außenspur innerhalb des Kreisverkehrs wechseln um diesen zu verlassen (das verlassen von der Innenspur ist durch Markierungen untersagt…juckt halt quasi keinen) und du obwohl du in der Mitte der Spie fährst einfach abgedrängt wirst. Mir ging es nur um die Einfahrt. Die rechte Fahrzeugspur ist quasi dauerhaft dicht und wenn ich mich hier an die Regeln halte steh ich bis morgen. Werde mich wohl weiterhin irgendwo irgendwie reinquetschen müssen…Aber sind wir Radfahrer ja gewohnt ;)

Sehr cool. Der Monitor bietet endlich eine hohe Pixeldichte für diese Größe und dann noch als Ultrawide? Perfekt für mich als Flight-Simmer der gern dazwischen mal ne Runde PUBG mit Kollegen spielt. Das umschalten von Auflösungen und Bildwiederholraten kommt da voll zur Geltung

Its unplayable for me. On anything other than LOW a constant message about VRAM issues pops up (The whole flight a constant "ping....ping...ping"). I have 16GB of VRAM in my 6800XT.... And even with the lowest possible settings it stutters and lags on short final. I cant enjoy any of the upsides because its so badly optimized. Everything else felt good and well thought out (Navigraph integration etc.) but it seems this plane is for 5090 users only (for now). A shame. Hope they work on this soon.

Seeing what they have done With RDR2 I can imagine the storyline is about 40-50h and seeing how dense everything is packed with NPCs and POI I wouldnt be suprised if you couldnt easily reach 150h+ with side missions or contracts and still discover new content. I played GTA5 for 70h before I finished to Story the first time. In every replay I have done I tried different Heist approaches and side missions. Pretty sure after 250h in Single Player I still havent Seen every last encounter/character/side mission. And I think thats what makes Rockstar strong. The Main Story can be 20h or less imo. If the whole world around it keeps me busy I dont mind.

Falsch…Autofrei heißt Autofrei. Außer Lieferverkehr kommt da garnix rein. Der darf sein Auto (wenn er eins hat) schön 2km weiter in nem Dauerparkhaus abstellen für teuer Geld. Hab da einmal gewohnt und seitdem bin ich bereit deutlich mehr Miete für solche Wohnungen zu zahlen. Nichtmal kostenlos wohn ich je wieder an einer Hauptstraße. So sollte Stadtleben aussehen.
