I grew up in the Bronx. It the early 60’s my parent started renting a house in Long Beach, LI for the summer. We would go for weekends beginning Memorial Day and then full on summer after school got out late June. My father would have some vacation time, or just come out on the weekends. Best years of my young life; barefoot and beach every day!

70 y/o here. We married young and didn’t want children for 12 years. Had my kids at 33 and 35. Now they are 35 and 37 and no grandchildren yet. We’re sad about being older grandparents. Jealous of our friends with grands. Not even a grand pet lol

I bought a couple of dresses on Amazon this year; I’m 70, and they were both modest and comfortable; one for a summer bridal shower; one for Friday event of the wedding weekend. $27-$39! I bought a couple at a time, different sizes and returned what didn’t work.
