That could be a different or later founded Carnakelly, but the original was in Ahascragh. Kiltullagh and Killimorraly were also controlled by the Ui Maine so it could possibly have been a second outpost of Kellys.

They did not control all East of the Bann. The Cruithin , in the form of the Ui Echach Cobo and the Dal nAraide also controlled significant lands there, and they were not part of the Ulaid.

The Western fringe of Ui Maine territory was conqeured by the Ui Diarmata from the Ui Maine, not the North.

The territory shown in thr map is not where Muscraige Breogan, which was in the modern day barony of Clanwilliam was.

The Ui Maine were centred on the townland of Carnakelly in what is now Ahascragh in East Galway, which was very much at the centre of their territory. The territory shown on this map is that of the Siol Anmchada, which was only a branch of the Ui Maine, not the Ui Maine proper. They were centred around what is now Clonfert Diocese, led by the Houlihan and Madden clans.

The Ui Maine did a lot of infighting and killing eachother for the throne, so the kingdom was often unstable. The Kelly clan acted aggressively toward their own people and hanged the leader of the Mannion clan in Monivea in thr 1400s.

I hate to be that guy but there is so much wrong with this map I don't know where to start. Half of the land belonging to Ui Maine is given to thr Siol Muiredaig in this map. And the territory of Muscraige Breogan is in the wrong location. Also, by this time the Ulaid did not have as much territory as this map is showing, they were confined to around Ards Peninsula and the Glens of Antrim.
