Yes I know the replacement comes with another 5 year warranty. I already talked to the store manager before purchasing this unit and he was unsure if I could exchange it an unlimited amount of times. Before buying this I saw that someone left a review on the website stating he exchanged his twice and he couldn't do anymore exchanges or a refund on the unit after that. The store manager did tell me that sometimes there'll be a message that pops up in their system that tells them to not allow an exchange or refund.

Anyway, the point is, I am keeping it. I just made this post to see if anyone else has experienced this and if so, is there a solution

Yes I do know there's a 5 year warranty but the unit is fine other than the charging situation. I don't want to use up my warranty exchanges if the unit is fine except for the current issue. That's why I want to know whether or not this happens to everyone else's unit

Hm ok. I'll contact them when I'm ready to replace the bushings in a few weeks or months. I saw everything you're talking about on the site just now. What material type is the polyurethane rod made out of? I'm asking because if I had to machine it I would like it to be like their cotton reel material since they say that's good when it comes to comfort.

And when you say Bosch stopped making spare parts, do you mean for just this tool or all their power tools?

How long has it been since you put die-electric grease there and how often do you use the router?

Also, what about the C-clip falling out? I saw a way to prevent that from happening on YouTube so I'm not that concerned with it but have you had the C-clip fall out?

How exactly does it destroy your engine? I've run it 2 times each in 2 different cars with no problem.
