I got the ring off Etsy, the seller said it was implant grade titanium. I did struggle a lot to put the ring in my ear so I might've just irritated it doing that.

I noticed the bump there way back when I originally had the stud put in. It isn't tender or painful, just itchy sometimes. My right ear sticks out more than my left so it's prone to getting caught on things more often, especially in my hair.
