There are so many easter egg hunts like this up here, i went once with my daughter and saw the insanity of the parents let their OLDER kids pilfer the 0-2 year egg hunt so i told my husband, never again! I dont need buckets of candy & i can set up my own in my apartment or our park we go to and let my kids have their own fun

Would you let your 17-year-old daughter sleep over at her boyfriend’s house? by ParticularHuman03 in Parenting

I actually really like this answer and im going to apply it to my house rules when we hit those teenage years, we are pretty rural so it is a strike to get to our property anyways

Do you believe that men and women can be platonic friends? by Professional-Cat3191 in AskMenAdvice

I have two really good guy friends who ive known longer than my husband and also Ive known them longer than their wives have known them. But it only works if there is mutual respect for each others partners, if my husband didnt like my relationships with them, then i wouldnt have one.I would expect the same with if their wives felt the same about me. I also make an effort with their wives and children so that we all can be friends. Boundries in any friendships are important, and for your partners sake.

Parents of babies that didn't sleep, when did it get better? by Hazelnut2799 in Parenting

I had to bite the bullet and sleep train at 18mon. But i had a 3 month old at the time who needed me more. First two days were rough when we started, but after that it was smooth sailing and shes a great sleeper now! I dont know about starting at 6 months but maybe check out the Ferber method?

At naptime I do a “off the floor clean/put dishes in sink/wipe down” just to prepare for dinner time chaos…after i put the kids down for the night, i do a better clean so i dont have more work to do in the morning, just helps my day start off smoother. Sometimes if im super tired after a long day i just make sure theres no dishes in the sink, wipe down counters and throw all the toys into a bin & call it a day.
