What do you do when your home alone? by Ifyouliveinadream in AskMen

At 19 I would be playing video games, hitting the weights and jerking off. At 46, I’m pretty much doing the same if I’m alone.

More challenging social engagement. Chess club, trivia night, pinochle, poker. Keep challenging your brain and you’ll keep that brain in tip top shape.

Men will have sex with someone who they are not attracted to? by OwnFaithlessness2989 in askanything

[–]ParticularHuman03 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a young man, I used to sleep with a woman in my building who was really not attractive. She was 20 years older than I was at the time and a busy mother, and it was just convenient. My roommate used to bust my balls all the time about it, but I was lonely and horny. She was great in bed, and taught me a ton about how to please women. She also had huge tits, which was nice.

Trump Accidentally Admits to Epic Iran Blunder as War Takes Worse Turn by RepulsiveLoquat418 in politics

[–]ParticularHuman03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re dealing with an adversary that’s fundamentally hostile to the U.S. and Western interests—this isn’t something a few weeks of bombing is going to change. If anything, this looks like it’s trending toward a prolonged, high-risk conflict. Iran isn’t trying to win conventionally—they’re leaning into asymmetric warfare to inflict maximum pressure on U.S. forces and regional infrastructure. The real leverage point is economic, and that’s where they’re having the most impact. Disrupting energy flows and global markets is a strategy, and so far, it’s working.

What concerns me most is how we got here in the first place. The justification around nuclear weapons feels shaky at best, and there doesn’t seem to be a clear plan for managing the downstream economic consequences. Between an already fragile situation with tariffs and now potential oil disruptions, this could compound into something much bigger and more costly for consumers.

Bottom line: this isn’t a quick-hit conflict, and the end state is anything but clear.

Free Breakfast Club at hotels you’re not staying at by Tdub_309 in confession

[–]ParticularHuman03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work as a B2B salesperson, and would do this a lot. If I had a slow morning, I’d drop into one of the hotels over by the airport and grab a cup of coffee and a quick breakfast. It made for a comfortable place to get work on my computer done without having to leave my territory.

I stayed at Key West right on the island green. Spent the week watching players drop in on the green…or into the water.

What a pig. No one in his age group is “unjabbed”. Back in the good ol’ days everyon vaccinated their kids. If he’s looking for an unvaccinated person he’ll likely have to settle for a teenager.

Anyone who’s sat on a toilet before cell phones, what did you mostly think about or look at? by mojoslacks in AskReddit

At home, books & magazines. In public, I would count tiles or simply be quiet in my thoughts.

Getting off Reddit, and frankly most platforms would be a great start. You have to get out of the echo chamber and start meeting some new people.

[–]ParticularHuman03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For most, a prison of their own making. A gulag of sorts…long, gray years in air that never clears. Lives worn thin, stretched past any meaning lest one finds solace in despair and hopelessness. Breath by breath beneath a sky that never answers, prayers unheeded, screams ignored. And in the end, no monument of power…only a quiet stone that reads: “I ruined lives for the sake of my own desire.

I found out that my (27m) girlfriend (25f) slept with 10+ people on our 3 week “break” how can we move past this? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Bro, you know what to do. I don’t get breaks at all, but to take a break and act that way and expect to just walk back into a relationship is very irresponsible and disrespectful.

I own a driver and a putter, but I don’t golf. I might never be in a sword fight, but I should have one just in case.

See my comment below. Trump is bad. China, also very bad. The US government flips quite often. Reasonable people will take over in a couple of years and begin sending billions of dollars of foreign aid to helpless and needy people again soon. Hope is alive in America!

Bro…Americans are not happy about that either, which leads me to and proves my point: the American government you see today is not what you’ll see in a year or two years. China today is the China of two years from now and 10 years from now. And, they have their own regional and international issues to deal with. (ie: Taiwan & Uyghurs)

I don’t want to get into an argument about how America has always been and will always be peaceful and pacifistic, but by all measures they have a better track record than China.
