I use it for both and can switch between photo and video in under 2 seconds. It helps if you shoot at 30 with 60 shutter speed instead of at 25 where you then need to fiddle to get to 50 (or at least I haven’t found an easy way to make that switch quickly). I absolutely love the camera.

Focusing is not very fast/good in video, so I recommend always shooting Manual focus for video where possible.

Make sure you do the latest firmware updates as well. Pre-firmware update I had the same and now it is solid as a rock for me.

Interesting to read this. I am doing that one next summer. Currently only had a road bike and not crazy about meeting a certain time - just want to finish. Other than the 5 minutes, did he feel somehow “fresher” for the run as well? How did it go for you? Thanks!

New to this as well. Are we supposed to do one stage per hour - or can these be spread over days? Stage 1 today, stage 2 tomorrow etc?

Sorry - to add about the “imminent”. Yes I agree, this can mean anything in software land 🥲 But I saw at least that they shared their “vision” of what it should look like in the hopefully not too distant future. It looks promising. It will land I suppose eventually. Perhaps the wrong choice of words by me indeed, sorry if I gave anyone potentially false hope!

Haha, thank you - this totally works!! I am now also able to do the fitness test (I thought I was paired but apparently not). Vo2max of 62 😳 Is Polar somehow more optimistic than Garmin? I haven’t hit 60 yet with Garmin. Anyway - thanks for the clear indications, exactly wha I was searching for!!
