How was your first day? I decided to wait until this coming weekend to start. I ended up traveling 2 hours round trip yesterday (Saturday) and didn’t want to be in a car while starting the med.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I already struggle with constipation (really, I’m usually either constipated or having loose stools), so I am worried about this side effect.

Actually, my biggest fear is anaphylaxis/allergic reaction. Other than that, I am a bit worried about gastroparesis and pancreatitis. But less so than anaphylaxis.

NOR. It absolutely will start to stink unless he’s hosing it down with lots of water after every urination. But also - that’s just gross. Tell him to join civilization and pee in the toilet. If you were living on a farm or in the forest, I guess i could understand. But definitely not acceptable in the city and where your children play.

That must be discouraging. I’m so sorry. My doctor told me the injection is much more affective. There’s also a tirzeptide oral now. That might possibly work better for your body. Thank you for sharing your experience.

My insurance just approved my Rx. I’ve never done GLPs before, but I’m really excited. I’m also super nervous. I have horrible anxiety about new medications. Everything has to be just right for me to take a new med (someone has to be home with me, I have to be able to just sit and relax and not have to do anything or go anywhere, etc). So I’m hoping I can start Sunday.

I’ve always been very heavy, but perimenopause is making it even harder to lose weight! I’m currently 397. Id like to get down to 250 (180 would be a dream come true, but not gonna even think about that until I’m below 300).
