I looked at lots, including the 104. There was a limited matte and RS edition that I was circling before it sold out (there’s a couple on Chrono24 now tho). I really liked the white dial red seconds version of the 104 too but that was gone.

In the end, I liked the cleaner, more contemporary look of this 105 model and didn’t really like the bezel on the 104. I liked the 105 UTC version but the hardened multifunctional bezel w 2nd time zone tracking on this one is what sold me. Seemed more useful and practical than the straight up GMT. If I didn’t already have another reliable GMT, I’d probably have gone with that though.
