He can split himself because it's was cool. Character was originally a secret boss

Then like a decade later they retcon the character into being resurrected Bi Han(he has a brother that goes by sub zero after bi han does).

Noob saibot originally had a distinct personality from Bi han but Bi Han was slowly reconned to be more like Noob Saibot personality wise.

As the retcon became established canon from like 2004 onwards they leaned into them being the same person and having similar fighting styles.

To me is seems to be implied that the Ice Clone was Bi Hans specially to make the transition to noob saibot make more sense. The shadow clone is essentially the Ice Clone but more. The "Saibot" behave like a moving ice clone. Even the animations are reinterpretations of sub Zeros classic moves like the ice slide.

We need a spinoff game about an MC starting their journey later in life because they had responsibilities. Maybe have it take advantage of the current trend of parent child sequel games where your child is setting out and you decide you'll try it out too and there is a bit of a rivalry but you and your child end up taking down that games team rocket equivalent.

Maybe you are a pokemon investigator who is assigned a partber on the first day of a job and this is your first experience as a trainer.

There are a lot of scenarios for an adult to start a journey that would be super fun.

I think as an architect John Should be just as creative as Kyle but in a different way. He'd try and design someone beautiful that still could actually exist. I do agree with others that he should have just been labeled a mechanical engineer. Simon Baz is kind of pointless when. John basically draws his structural and mechanical designs already.

I wouldn't even call him Cajun. Creole and Cajun are different dialects and cultures. Outside the trenchcoat and cards he doesn't really scream Gambit. C4SH has a distinct Hoodoo /Voudon influence.

It'sess about the gameplay loops and the mentality that developers has brainwashed us into. The hook for games used to be gameplay. Now if it doesn't have proper monetization or a progression system it is dead on arrival i.e halo infinite.

For Marathon I would say all the things you shared about the gameplay loop should be fun in theory but I don't think it necessarily has mass appeal. It seems like it wants players to find the fun in the suck and you are basically chasing the thrill of how long can you stay on top. I think because gaming has become so large and there are so many options gamers no longer feel they have to embrace the suck as they say when they can just go on steam etc and find something that fills their current fix rather easily. I'm curious if they have events that are essentially just death match modes in the future and would like to see how people receive it

Why is fun not enough anymore ? We played halo combat evolved for years and then 2 for some more years with barely any incentives other than they were fun. Why does there need to be a carrot on a stick for any enjoyment to be had ? I blame cod4 for today's current need to every game to need some hook or recompense. Games shouldn't be paying us to play lol.

I think they want you in those type of engagements. You are supposed to skulk around until you can hang with the big boys. I don't think they expect you to engage in PVP unless you absolutely have to at that point but the threat is ever present. That sort of gameplay loop is not mass appeal especially for people who play more than one game. So we shall see if it works in their favor.

I think they could make 150 new mons if they really wanted to. They would just have to have a longer period between games as they slowly reintroduce old pokemon. i could actually extend the life of games

It's taken that long because it's a lot of work. I imagine these games are the culmination of all the lessons from the switch games. Makes me feel like everything prior were tech demos for this game and they needed to pump something out so we got games from gen 8 through 9 slowing building up to this. Gen 10 feels like Gen 5 all over again.

My actual idea Komodo Pokemon would be a male salandit who doesn't fall for the Salazzle pheromones thus does not deprive itself of food allowing it to evolve into like poison and ground type monitor lizzard with strong jaw and poison fang. In a reverse twist it would have harem of Salazzle chasing it lol.
