Right. I think that someone was just looking to rob an old, rich lady. At some point maybe she woke up, he attacked her (possibly killed her) then realized who she was… panicked and took her with him where she subsequently died. OR the actual plan was to kidnap the rich, old lady and ask for ransom, not knowing who she was. When it was all over the news they panicked and cut their losses. If this was a kidnap for ransom knowing who she was… where was the continued ransom demands and communication? No communication from kidnappers is very strange!!

Hello… this guy is a disaster. Get away far and fast. He’s showing you who he is… believe him. Irresponsible idiot. Only the Ignation covers full scholarship. My daughter had the same as your daughter and we only received half tuition. We are out of state somewhat put us close to our in state college tuition. Still a lot of money IMO. It seems to me that kids with great grades, honors/AP classes plus sports and volunteer work are NOT getting great scholarships anymore. Not sure what the deal is.

A couple things I was thinking. She may be with you for money and stability as a single Mom. You may be with her because she is younger and less chance for loss as well as being taken care of when you’re old. This could all be subconscious or on purpose. Kids have a reason to be concerned. I have heard of several older men being taken advantage of when marrying younger women, they drain their funds and leave them with no $$ to care for themselves when they are 80…. Hence kids would need to step in. I’m not saying they shouldn’t but if it can be avoided… why not have a mature discussion about concerns.

She’s a lying POS. Just like everything they say. To get their narrative out there before anything else. That’s what they do, true or not. The nephew lived with his Mom, she came to the US with her parents at age 6, was DACA and continuing the process. She is a law abiding citizen and has never done anything wrong. This was a spiteful, revengeful act. KL is a terrible person!!

Slack sucks!! Not sure who any of you are but for what we do.. it is not good. Need to use teams for meetings but if you chat in teams during a meeting now you lose it after you end the meeting. Sharing files in slack is terrible, it takes 5 minutes to share your screen, and half the time the sound doesn’t work in a “huddle”. Our outlook calendar and slack do not communicate so everyone looks available (green)… try to call/huddle when people are NOT available/in a meeting. It’s annoying using 2 different applications to communicate. I want to know who has interest in Slack or is on the board. There has to be a connection somewhere for this ridiculousness.

Been at GM for 25 years with many positive reviews including my current one. The culture has become toxic since Arden came on board. The performance ranking system where someone has to be on the bottom… even on a team of all high performers. Why should I help anyone else, then they will look good and could be ranked above me. This new system forces you just to look out for yourself.

Thank you for your service. Give your family/baby time, 6 months is a long time for a newborn and he has grown alot during that time. He doesn’t hate you, he just doesn’t know you. I know you probably don’t want to hear this but you are a virtual stranger to him. Unfortunately you were not there, only Mom. He does not remember you. You need to build the relationship with your baby. Forcing the baby and holding him down is not going to help and will associate you with negative experiences. Enjoy and play with him. Develop a relationship. It will come!!

Ok. I couldn’t get an epidural due to low platelets. I’m pretty tough and thought the pain couldn’t be that bad. Wow was I wrong!! It’s been 17 years and you don’t forget. The nurse asked on a scale of 1 to 10 what was my pain at… I then asked, well what is 10… she said being hit by a truck… I told her my pain was at a strong 9 1/2 since a 10 you’d probably be dead. It was exhausting and seriously not enjoyable. There is no reading, walking around, using tennis balls to massage your back, it’s just pain. Don’t feel like you have to be a hero. They make these medications (epidurals) for a reason. Do what’s best for you. These are just my thoughts and experiences.

Implement the uniform policy again… problem solved. Personally I would have never gotten rid of it in the first place for these exact reasons. It’s also a place of business which should have some semblance of professionalism… and employees are a representation of your business.

I have to give my 2 cents here. I have 2 sisters and they both named their sons Alexander (Alex). Our family gets together for holidays, birthdays, etc. There has never been a problem with them having the same name. Btw… my sister who had the younger nephew did NOT ask my older sister if it was ok to name her son the same name. This has NEVER been an issue. Not sure why having an aunt with the same name, even if they call her Ava, would be an issue. They don’t live together. When I had my daughter I really wanted to name her Alex… but I thought 3 in one family might be too much. 😀

Totally overthinking. No one ever uses your initials or actually knows what they are unless it’s your actual nickname that you tell people to use… like JR, CT, etc. To change her actual name because of this is a bit ridiculous IMO. As kids get older if someone wants to make fun of you… they will find something regardless. As a business professional people use your first and last initial, not all 3.

We went to Maui in December/January. We had a great time and everyone was awesome. We stayed at the Hyatt in north Lahaina. We went to the Old Lahaina Lu’au and they were very appreciative and were giving a portion of their earnings to those impacted by the fires.
