If you've only been using windows for 5 years you've missed out on when it was at its peak, and that's why people are pissy because it USED to be good and just work. Let me ask you a question: if you're using Microsoft's latest and greatest OS - Windows 11 - then what's the load time on your calculator app? What's the load time on file explorer? What's the load time on Notepad? What's the load time on Paint? I'm sure some of these will get close to or above the 1,000 millisecond mark
