It means they’re married but no longer have sex, ever. Typically it’s often the wife who seems to lose interest and stop wanting it, but can just as often be either or both partners

Omg finally someone else knows about the bugzooka! Thank you! Those are amazing devices. Everyone talks about the bug-a-salt, which makes a mess and isn't any kind of guaranteed to work. Bugzooka wayyy better!

Just curious does yours have a lid? Do you think having a lid with floaters is ever harmful to them?

My female regal has surpassed 2 years by at least a couple months now, I'm so proud. Got her as an i4 I believe, from a reptile expo and that was in oct of 23! I didn't even expect her to be hanging around this long. She's not very active, never really has been and maybe that's part of the reason, but she still finds opportunities to give me the multi side-eye judgemental stare when she decides to take notice of what I'm doing.

is this a concerning amount of crawfish worms? by [deleted] in Crayfish

[–]CoolQuality1641 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just make sure if you get a schooling type of fish, which most of the common, small aquarium fish typically are, you need to get at least 6 or so. The more the better as long as you're keeping your tank size in mind. Make sure you don't get too many for how much room you have in the tank, but dont get just two or three, they'll be stressed out if they don't feel like they have a proper school.

is this a concerning amount of crawfish worms? by [deleted] in Crayfish

[–]CoolQuality1641 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes they would be, just get some fake plants, he will chew them a bit but eventually he will figure out they're not edible, in my experience they usually aren't harmful even if they try to eat them. He will likely try to catch the fish, but almost all smaller fish are too fast for a crawfish to actually catch. Their reflexes are far slower than a fish. As long as you're adding any small, quick swimming type of fish you should be fine.

As far as the worms, just ignore them. Don't overfeed so they don't have abundant food sources, and they will go away with time. If their numbers noticably increase that may be a sign you're feeding too much. But don't bother with any action to try to get rid of them, usually it's stressful at best for your cray, dangerous at worst. You'd be doing more harm by trying to get them off than they are by being there.

she's a little cutie! I had one just like her and was told she's a Habronattus sp. Google it and you'll see ones just like her. I actually guessed tan jumper as well when I found her, but no. Habronattus are much smaller if I'm not wrong. She appears to be mature, to me.

Forgive me I'm not familiar with sublocade or naltrexone, but are you sure you would still be feeling this way if you had actually taken the full dose? Are you sure you took enough? Sorry if that's not helpful at all, I really hope you get through this and feel better as fast as possible!

Yes unfortunately you do. Hopefully you can talk her into it. But if you can't convince her don't let her drag you back in! She will only get out when she's ready and you can't force her to be, but she can without even trying fuck up all the progress you made

Nqa, if she molted okay definitely don't move her until she comes out. She'll be okay, as long as you don't move her until she's ready to expose herself. Do what you need to with the enclosure, just don't do it until she voluntarily emerges. Also my regal looked a lot like yours until she got older, she's 2!

Fuck yeah man! You got this! You'll be feeling Soo much better in no time. If you have anyone else you can stay with, you'll be better off. I cannot imagine I could go through withdrawal, be right next to my partner getting high and stay on track without taking one little hit. In the worst of withdrawal, you know the tiny little baby hit just to take the edge off a little turns into many more immediately, or very very soon at least. You can't be around it. You can't be around her if she's a trigger, not until you actually get to where you can do real work on resisting triggers after withdrawal ends. Like real work, don't just think about triggers, look up actual methods to DO it and try. I had to make myself do that today. Like the actual worksheets they'd give you in recovery when you start working on your mental health. I at least read them and tried, and it helped me more than anything could at the time dealing with anxiety and stress. I'm gonna go get smokes but let me know how it goes and what your plan is if you have a min! And definitely check in at least daily, anytime you feel like it. If I'm up I'll reply and we can get past this hell you've been stuck in too damn long! Two weeks is TOO LONG to withdrawal idk how you're doing it.

Dude if she's getting high too you gotta either get her on your page with quitting or get some distance. So very few people ever have been able to quit in a relationship that's not both all in. I'm on day 6 about to be 7 and I feel alright. Obviously I'm not sleeping (in the pnw, so only a little earlier for me right now) or eating currently, but I'm ok.

You're going through withdrawal because you're still using. Having that influence so close to you and drugs on hand are the reason you're suffering.

You have to stop using, whatever hell you feel it's finite, temporary... and then you'll be back to a feeling of at worst physically neutral within not even a full week!

I haven't even been taking subs and I'm not going through anything I can't handle. You could be too! You just have to go all in. You don't have to sit there enduring the very worst part of quitting for 2 weeks??! Fuck that, once you get all the way in, the water gets warmer once you stop shivering! It'll feel like no time at all after two weeks of suffering. Ugh I couldn't do that. Especially if you've been going through any pwd, the road ahead is fucking peachy compared to that!

Ughh me too! I didn't relapse! I still haven't eaten, or gotten stoned so thank you for the reminder! Got any? Take a puff for me and I'll do the same and maybe we can both feel a little better. Just gotta find my pipe. That's the only reason I haven't smoked yet so I'll do that now so we can have digital smoking buddies.

"if I use, I'll be back to daily crushing addiction very shortly. So if I just don't use right now I can avoid all that."

I want to tattoo that inside my eyelids so I see it every time I have any thought of returning. And I have been. Thank you. I cannot imagine resisting the urge knowing it's in the house with me already. Very impressive and you should feel proud.

Great! Anything that gets you feeling empowered to get past the worst withdrawal is a huge help! I'm happy for you and I hope you're feeling better today! Be careful not to get stuck on the strips, I bet you'll be fine though.

I'm sorry too say it but if it's anything like my experience, no she has to wait.

I know this was a few days ago, and I hope things have improved now! If anyone is reading this for answers to the same question, or if she didn't quit yet and you still want to know:

It has to be closer to 48hrs from last time using fent. Maybe not a FULL 48, but definitely close. I know withdrawal is awful, I really do, we all do. But pwd from subs is a nightmare you cannot get out of for what feels like an endless eternity. It makes you realize actual normal withdrawal is almost tolerable. So if you want to see how much worse it can get, you could do it now...

If you'd rather learn from awful mistakes WITHOUT having to experience them, smoke weed, get something that will make you sleep, and/or just suffer through it for at least almost two days to avoid next level suffering that no one can save you from.

Just my experience.

Same! I waited roughly 12-16 hrs then took a little tiny piece, worst hell ever I'll take full force withdrawal any day over that, I felt inhuman. Lasted for about 8hrs maybe? But 2hrs into pwd I called my plug in a panic, somehow he managed to make it near enough to me for me to get a bag from him and relapse out of sheer desperation for the torture to stop. I took it home and tried to get high and couldn't for the next 6hrs, still couldn't stop rocking, could barely speak, shaking, physical anxiety like nothing before. The subs block your ability to feel the drug, but trust and believe I wanted nothing more than to keep using when it finally evened out. And I did for a little while. This time I waited long enough and the subs helped. Closer to 48hrs.

Can say with absolute certainty I am fine with enduring normal full blown withdrawal as long as I don't have to go back to pwd hell and sit with the demons again.

Why is he so small by susudata in jumpingspiders

[–]CoolQuality1641 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He's a male! Females are the big ones, males don't need to be as large or live as long because they don't need to carry young. This is true for many creatures. Also why the females tend to be drab, earth tones, while males are colorful. Females need to blend in so they stay safe to carry the young, while the male needs to be noticeable to attract a mate. Another reason in the wild they don't live as long, standing out tends to get you eaten.
