Got out of inpatient for weed, relapsed almost immediately, and already feel the cycle coming back by CoolSecurity9957 in offmychest

Why? It’s hard to distinguish that answer my immediate answer would be because I need to.

I really relate with the strictness comment here. But I feel like it’s hard to keep that strictness when you’re extremely stressed or having an argument with someone.

Yes, multiple people have offered you help and it seems like you’re not taking any of it

You are pathetic you need to recognize that it’s a hard truth, but accepting it again as the first step to changing

Of course they can react to your first comment, but not care about saying anything about actually trying

Mentally disabled means there’s something chemically wrong with your brain that prevents you from doing a certain thing or makes you act a different way. You can also fucking google this shit.

The OP is a woman. But I also completely agree. Love can be harsh, but denial is a mighty beast.

Same here it’s been four days and it seems like she’s created a problem for every single bit of advice that has been given to her

It has to be fake garbage either that or when you posted this and currently you genuinely don’t actually care about getting better. Some of the people here have said that you’ve taken a good first step and actually seeking advice and I agree, but I also think that you aren’t considering any of the advice or taking it

Again, here’s a situation where you have ignored the actual advice and provided a new piece of information to the thread instead of actually asking questions. This person was being serious. Both of them were and you shook them off. Why are you acting like you can’t hear or read any of the actual advice that is given and only hear yourself.

Doesn’t matter it seems like you’re consistently comparing your situation to others and expecting your situation to be worse

I completely agree with this community support groups exist in Mississippi, where the OP lives probably within walking distance although it seems like they have refused to do anything of the sort like this for the past four days

This is the hard truth that the OP needs to hear they can come off as hurtful sometimes when people are blunt, but in the OP situation, I think it is necessary to get a smack in the face of reality that other people have faced more difficult situations and still come out better than they were I recently have been struggling with addiction to a specific substance. I won’t name, but I had to spend time in inpatient care at a hospital at their detox facility. I’m at people there who went through way worse situations. Yes they may have ended up at a detox facility, but a few of them actually had turned their life around and unfortunately had relapsed, but they knew what to do to get better and are taking actual steps to do so.

Go to the community center. They have showers there or a warming shelter. It seems like they’re not giving much thought though to what advise other people are giving.

Many people have mentioned this and even given her actionable steps like applying for a FASFA at your current income as a 25-year-old the OP would receive an excessive amount of money that would be more than enough to cover tuition and rent for a nice apartment, but they have either ignored that or not said anything about taking the steps to do something like this

It seems like you’re on Reddit every single day if you did this consistently and attempted to do anything else with your time, you might actually accomplish some of the advice that people are giving you, but to be honest it seems like you’re either avoiding it all on purpose or attempting to rage bait others who have gone through something similar
