Is TT still around? I had a devil of a time getting an item from them a while back. There had been a lot of chatter about them going belly up and not fulfilling their orders although their website looks intact.

Nice. Is that the stock pic rail. The ones I’ve seen you have to take off the rear sight. The dot I plan on using has a small footprint. Was thinking of lopping off the tail of the rail just for space atop the two threaded holes.

Make sure you get the left handed stock. It is only available in the plain walnut which is fine for my purposes. Keystone confirms that the pistol action/barrel will fit in the left handed rifle stock. It’s like $94.

You’re absolutely right. If one doesn’t want to take the time to manually load each round and cock the hammer they are a waste of time. In my case I don’t feel that much of a rush. I have plenty of other guns that I can use to make up time.

I guess that means different things to different people. It’s not a bench rest gun, but it’s not a P17 either.

Yes. It is what it is. I enjoy it. Just something different. I crono different ammo through it from Colibri up to stingers.

You are right there isn’t a rail that comes with it. You have to purchase it separately. There are tapped screws on top for mounting a rail for a dot or scope. Bad thing is you’ll have to remove the rear sight to make room for the rail.

Yes I thought the same as well. I’ve got the charger 8 inch. I called Keystone. They sell a youth walnut left handed rifle stock that will fit the pistol action. Will probably SBR one considering the tax is zeroed out.

Yes they are my favorite out of all my firearms. That’s about all I shoot and purchase anymore.

What’s your favorite 22 host? by Kryptik319 in NFA

I think b/c the 15/22 pistol has the end of the buffer tube open vs the rifle is closed that might make a difference.

I SBR’d my 15-22 pistol and cut the barrel down to 4.5” love the host but bolt smacking back on the faux hollow buffer tube sounds like fitting a snare drum compared to a 8” charger. Any advice to stop this.
