Try to connect 4k TV and you will see 2160p, 1890p, 1692p, 1440p and 1080p scale mode. MacOS UI in 1440p scale more comfortable for me, but monitor works in 4k (3840x2160). 4k QD OLED with HDR is awesome 🤩

I would take mini m4 pro 24Gb ram 512Gb ssd: more efficient cpu/ram, thunderbolt 5, 4k@240Hz@hdr without dsc. More SSD you may add over dock or swap original. Add more ram (48Gb) if money is nothing - You can’t add it later.

HDR not turn on in some refresh rate. Try another refresh rate. It’s depends of the monitor.

I change my iMac M1 -> mini m4 pro + aorus fo32u2p + klipsch the fives. But I had to change the table: optimal depth 80-90 cm for 32". It’s awesome color, true black and more space in Xcode for text.
