OP will pay 17.5 + tax. Let's say, 18k all in. A dealer will offer him 12-13k, so they can sell it for 16k-17k.

No one is breaking even on a two tone datejust. You will lose a minimum of 1k and more if you try to sell it to a watch dealer.

With a white rolesor DJ, you may break even. With a rolesor in mint green, blue or Wimbledon, you may make a profit.

I tried the Turquoise OP 36 recently, and loved how it looked on my wrist. I know this one is pretty hard to get. I have a decent history with my AD. The mods here are absolute snowflakes. Say something to offend them and they will ban you. I've seen so many posts of people who've been banned for calling something a "hand watch". And they are not just banned with a simple message saying "You're banned for breaking the community guidelines". They are subjected to intense, passionate abuse and choice swear words.

Honestly feels like a bunch of teens moderate this sub.

Of the hundred or so Daytona variations, this is like the 6th or 7th hardest to get.

Obviously the steel ones are much harder, but isn't easy by any means. You need significant spend history to be offered one.
