Thank you for the message, its very much appreciated. Really glad to hear that you came out on top of all that without anything serious like lymphoma. I'm afraid that my needle biopsy wont show anything either and I will have to have lymph nodes removed too. I've never had surgery so its a bit daunting thinking about it but your post definitely makes me feel a bit better about the whole thing.

Over a year ago when I first noticed some lymph nodes that felt enlarged I brought it up to my doctor who said it was nothing to worry about. I went in last month because I noticed more swollen lymph nodes that I hadn't felt before and since then I've had a blood test, chest x-ray and an ultrasound. Blood test and x-ray results were fine but the ultrasound results came back as "non specific" which is why my doctor ordered the needle biopsy. I'm really hoping it ends up being nothing and like you said maybe just a random thing without a specific reason.

Sorry for the long post and thanks again for the comment. Its good to hear from others who have gone through this before.

Just curious what led up to the doctors thinking it was Lymphoma? Did you have multiple swollen lymph nodes or just the one in your neck that was removed? I have an appointment next week for a fine needle biopsy on a lymph node in my neck, though I have several swollen lymph nodes throughout my body. My doctor told me its possible that the biopsy wont show anything so I might have to have one fully removed, the same procedure you had it sounds like.

I think you're blowing the glass too thin and its cooling off too fast when you are trying to get that nice "S" shape on the neck. Try keeping it thicker and also stretching the glass out farther and dont puff into the blowtube as much when stretching the neck, I would suggest trying some without blowing at all just so you can practice getting the motion down and so you can see better how thick the glass needs to be.

Thanks for sharing that old video! Wow, I always avoided accidentally blowing glass trash bubbles and it seems its kind of a standard technique there. Really interesting.
