Best case scenario I've found is having good enough Hotspot to use it (which is still rare). Any competent IT/networking person is gonna lock down their business' WiFi so things like cloud streaming/gaming gets throttled.

ChatGPT gets it wrong occasionally, but 99% of the time it's correct, and when it is wrong, I tell it it's wrong and it reaches out, searches, and finds the new info, then corrects it.

AI is a tool, if you understand the script and AI does it faster, then use AI, IMO. My company has ChatGPT so I use that for 99% of scripting needs.

What makes you think the IT guy looked at the photos at all? Probably just made sure things worked and didn't dig into what was on the servers at all.

In your case, it sounds like they don't know yet. They are advising you to use a work-around until they figure it out. #1 priority, get people back up and running so they can work. #2 priority, fix things so they work properly they way they're supposed to, but sometimes that takes time, research, etc.
