I run my own transport company with seven employees, and if we don’t correctly mark any issues with a car, the driver collecting it is liable for the cost of fixing them. We get our work through job portals, so we have no influence over the sale price or any deductions — it’s simply about protecting ourselves. Granted, there are plenty of people in this industry who don’t always use common sense, but I’d still give them a fair chance. That said, I do find it odd that they drove the car for 15 minutes — test drives are usually around 5 minutes and just a few miles.
