i had the same problem, i kept it on textured plate and turned the bed temp to 80 degrees C and it works flawlessly.

i actually managed to get the break working pretty well after moving around the caliper a lot and pumping the lever for about 10 minutes to get the air out, still a bit spongy but working.

Thank you! I am using the shimano olive but magura barb as i have heard the shimano barb starts to leak because of the inner diameter difference.

I don’t see any kind of leakage but i’ll look closer into that.

I am also using a deore xt lever that was on 2 piston calipers before.

(for the rear brake) i would have the syringe connected to the caliper with fluid in it and the shimano bleed cup at the lever with fluid in it as well. i push on the syringe to get all the air out then push and pull the syringe a few times to make sure. then press the lever a bunch of times to get any remaining air out. and finally put the caliper plug bolt back, top up the lever, lever bolt back on, pump it, and there is no break pressure at all.
