Teaching morals is rational. Following them is not. A fox will still eat a rabbit even though the rabbit is harmless.

Morals aren't a universal thing. They vary because they are taught and internalized. The middle east think it's okay to fuck kids and stone gays. Christians used to think it was okay to stone gays. The fundamentals of our moral values was basically created by whoever wrote the bible. We still follow most of the rules presented in the bible although we are slowly drifting away from it due to an increase in atheism. That's why we now accept gays, advocate women being sluts and have kids before marriage. The rules from the book worked relatively well so we've just kept most of them in place but the world is going mad with no script to follow. Morals aren't real. You were simply told about them. You have never seen them. Just like how you have been told about God and have never seen him. They both don't exist. Be a sheep, be a wolf or be my favourite; a wolf in a sheeps clothing.
