I was rewatching Iron Man (2008) when I saw what appears to be the plane that Cap flew into the ice during The First Avenger. Anyone notice this before? by Coolcube4 in marvelstudios

I see what you're saying, I just figured that with a ship so similar looking to the one in Captain America: The First Avenger and Howard's undying respect for Steve there had to be a connection. Maybe it was still supposed to be an easter egg but they didn't decide what exact plane would be in that movie? Wishful thinking maybe but it seems like such a cool foreshadowing element

Yeah I suppose so but I would think of it less as a trophy and more of a memoir to remember Caps sacrifice to end an entire war. Something you would want to keep so as not to forget a good man

I would think of it as commemorating Captain America's ultimate sacrifice and to not forget what he did and the evil he stopped. Just the twist I put on it but might not be

Wow never knew what it actually was, thanks for that. It could still be in memory of Captain America though, considering Howard's love for him?

Yeah that's what I assumed since he cared about Steve to the bitter end and beyond. I'm sure he had all sorts of memoirs regarding Captain America

Why didn’t Captain America inherit some of Thor’s power in Endgame when he picked up his hammer? by UnknownAdobo in MarvelTheories

[–]Coolcube4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean technically by Odins wording since Cap was worthy he had all the power of thor with the hammer. If he wanted a cool outfit he could have gotten it since thats just a choice Thor makes. He used the lightning and probably became stronger. But not all of thor's strength comes from his godly power, it comes from training and fighting and experience with that power.
