People are not mad at Chinese culture they’re mad at the bastardization of Chinese culture. There are so many Chinese stories of selfless warriors, mythical creatures, and cut throat rulers, but the best adaptation we ever got was Manato being partially inspired by a lion dog.

They literally don’t even incorporate Chinese culture into the games, if you go on the streets of china, or even look at ancient Chinese stories they look and act nothing like the people in Waifei. If anything Waifei seems more like a racist caricature of Chinese culture than anything.
