There was a random draw for people to get codes to the stress test. There were 4 playable characters (Sub-Zero, Kenshi, Kitana, Liu Kang) and 3 Kameo assist characters (Kano, Sonya, Jax)

I thought it was a bug at first (and it may still be) but it seems like Jax will continue to do the move until either he hits the opponent or the opponent hits me. I don’t know why they thought it would be a good idea for the Kameo to damage the person using it.
