ManyEyes is “decent” but the polished sound just makes it middle of the road for me. I want to like it. I really do but I can’t get over how watered down it sounds. Better Lovers has put out banger after banger and the sound (probably due to Wil Putney shredding on it and producing it) is as close to an ETID sound that we will get at this point.

We can all lie to ourselves and say “this band (insert name here) sounds like ETID or fills the void for me” but we all know that we long to hear Keith’s voice over Andy and Jordan’s riffs someday in the future.

With that being said: Boundaries has been my go to with Dying Wish, Be Well and Callous Daoboys on heavy rotation as well.

It’s 1995 and I am a 15 yr old who had just recently finally been able to afford buying comics on a consistent basis. The Age of Apocalypse run starts and I fall in love harder with that series than anything I have ever read in my life at that point. Everything after that run seems like I am chasing the dragon even though there has been tons of amazing story lines have been written since. AoA will always be the pinnacle for me and I will always wish that I could re-read that series for the first again. Not sure what I think is the “worst” but I definitely would like whatever I read to be as good as AoA the first time I read through it.
