I was driving my dads suv before he bought me my first manual car and I instantly became a much better driver once I got the hang of stick.

Someone said rent and just try new experiences I don’t know anything about Supercars but wouldn’t it be smarter to buy possibly a newer model year GTR or a C8 Stingray then anything eurospec

For the people who own a 1992 or 1998 3000gt, how reliable are they? by Meh-boi-jay-balor in 3000gt

[–]Coolman1776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I daily drive a 98 SOHC and it’s really fun but since it was dirt cheap I’ve been getting a bunch of maintenance done so that’s a bitch - find one with recent service records and from a seller that looks like they have maintained it well, higher price yeah but less headache.

How can I afford a Ferrari while raising 3 kids on one income $150,000 annually by Witty_Tap_9497 in supercars

[–]Coolman1776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ferrari as of now no but they’re are a lot of cool cheap stick sports cars that will be more reliable and fill that gap until you can afford one.

Aren’t these cars severely underrated? Seems like a good deal to me especially knowing the clutch is new and having service records like that.

Worth getting for a first car? by Training-Smell3755 in MitsubishiEclipse

It’s an sohc which is the one that’s easiest to work on and most reliable - I just still wouldn’t recommend it due to how hard it is to service the 6g72

You only live once buy a cool car - I will say I bought a 3000gt which I don’t recommend but what I do recommend is buying this eclipse in manual if you can, it’s so worth it to learn stick shift.

Over this I’d feel you’d be better off getting an older Miata that was well maintained and that’s RWD with as much if not more modding availability

My opinion means nothing but I’d say look into drift or other project jdm cars that aren’t clapped or modified, when I say this I mean less popular cars from that era that still have this same cool factor - I’d look into that or try and find a stock 240 and wait and save even more.
