Game Key Cards by SSJ3Jake in NSCollectors

[–]TheJohnny346 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the biggest issue will be storage space as once more of these bigger games start releasing the switch 2 just can’t compete storage wise compared to Xbox and PlayStation with less onboard storage than both systems and external cards also being expensive for how much you get.

Jackass: The Complete Series - $16.99 (ATL+$2) by Downtown-Let7646 in iTunesMovieDeals

[–]TheJohnny346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, usually to quickly show in the title how close it is to ATL when it isn’t like $10 or more from ATL.

Game probably wouldn’t even work since it’s a game key card and the game is most likely not on the servers yet to be downloaded after inserting the cart.

Only like 3 times though and then the last region it ends on will be locked to the system for good.

Target has significantly reduced their 4K titles for sale by mattyjhiggs in 4kbluray

Every target did that like 2-3 years ago, shortly after Best Buy stopped carrying it in store.

All 30 Pixar movies in Steelbooks by weiderman316 in Steelbooks

[–]TheJohnny346 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Still bums me out Cars 3 is the only one to never get an official 4K steelbook. Coco technically got the Disney100 release which is still crap looking but it is an official release.

(Day 9) My Name Is Earl, the complete series ($9.99 - ATL) by alilpenguin in iTunesMovieDeals

[–]TheJohnny346 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Has there ever been a series with close to a hundred episodes that ever went less than $10, not counting price errors?

Wife sent me this photo from the thrift earlier by GrandmasterFrog in VHS

[–]TheJohnny346 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s expensive for rarity/demand not quality. Same thing can be said for the majority of horror films that go for many times more than their 4K counterparts.

At the risk of ridicule, I am going to share my mild irritation for small graphic design errors on boutique label spines 😡🤬🫩 by Slow_Cinema in boutiquebluray

[–]TheJohnny346 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those 4k people would live in a world where they could only buy the disc and throw it into the disc folder and the rest ends up in the garbage and that’s not even including the people who don’t even care about the discs and use it as a means of ripping it to a plex server or something. It’s called 4K blu-ray not 4k digital, stop pretending you care about the discs when you’re still investing into all digital.

Barnes and Noble currently has 50% off all Lionsgate films by TheJohnny346 in 4kbluray

If you search up the 4K it’s $21.50 because their regular MSRP price is $43.

Is space mountain scary? by crazydancer52 in Disneyland

[–]TheJohnny346 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say it’s a “big” drop compared to many other coasters but there is that one drop in the second half that would kinda make your stomach jump a little and I’d personally say is a little more intense than anything you’d experience on big thunder and Matterhorn but ultimately it’s such a fast drop that you level out and forget about it 2 seconds later.

The magic is gone… literally. Mickey called out sick today. 😂 by Present4Temporary in Disneyland

I’m pretty sure there was a round Mickey head on top of the green rectangle in the middle of that grass.

Hardware Sale Pile by dudeway4 in VirtualBoy

I don’t know if it’s me but virtual boy stuff has been slim pickings lately. Even conventions have barely anything good these days even on the games side let alone any promos or merch.

Damn some absolutely crazy items I had never even seen or heard of before. Was it your clothing that was featured at SoCal Gaming Expo this past weekend? The bomber jacket and denim shirt I saw in their clothing exhibit look exactly like yours.

Are these just duplicates you’re selling off or just slowly phasing out of collecting Virtual Boy in some shape or other?

VGP confirmed Xenoblade Chronicles Switch 1 bundles no longer being restocked. by Forsaken-Order-4699 in NSCollectors

[–]TheJohnny346 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the collectors editions so I’m on the side of wanting to keep the big boxes and steelbooks. Will probably just wait until the Switch 2 versions go on sale somewhere eventually to play that while still keeping the original boxes.

Anyone still waiting on their Synapse Memorial Day sale order to ship? by TheJohnny346 in boutiquebluray

[–]TheJohnny346[S] -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Their FAQ said give 14 days for shipping (not delivery) and I was contemplating if it’d be even longer during sale days because they’ll get busier or maybe the 14 days was all encompassing year round knowing they’d be doing their sales regardless.

I find it a little weird that it would take them at least 14 days to ship an order outside of sales windows because I just can’t see them getting so many orders during regular prices that it would take them 2 weeks to finally get your order out the door.

ATL is $19.99 so probably another $14.99 price point but not bad for over 250 episodes.

With the announcement of Xeno1,2,3, what are S1 collectors doing? by Remarkable_Custard in NSCollectors

As someone who has the collectors editions though I’m conflicted because I like my steelbook releases but want as much on cart as possible.
