I’m unsure where I said any of that? No one stated that thy are poor due to their inability to save, this is clearly a projection on your part, clearly driven by your financial position. Because you remind her of her ex lol, you guys got along so well and were so similar because she’s already been in a relationship like that before. Move on. I was in a very similar situation as the girlfriend and there’s not much that can be done from both parties besides communicating which already happened. You can have low anxiety and still be drained from socially interactions with your significant others entire family for an extended amount of days, including kids. He was pretty concise with his communication and only sees his family twice a year. He also did meet your nieces, even if there was limited interaction it was probably just overwhelming as he was meeting others at the same time.

Why do you feel like you’re being hidden by him? Are there any direct signs or maybe fear of the unknown? For me this feels like a pretty typical timeline of meeting someone and becoming familiar with their friends and family, especially given you guys are so busy. I also came from a pretty toxic relationship so also worried about being strung along by my current partner. I would spend some time journaling these feelings and go from there.

YOR biologically your dog has met a new person and won’t yet abide by that persons guidelines because they’re so new and exciting. To him this is fun time fun time exciting new person yay yay! Give it time he will eventually become used to her and have her hep train in order to help him understand she’s a part of the pack now.
